question about normally non-active cannabinoids, in regards to budder.
in the wikipedia entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budder
we have the following: Budder is made by whipping in air and freezing isomerizied hash oil. Isomerization is an additional chemical step that converts the delta 9-thc to delta 6-thc activating a lot of the normally non-active cannabinoids.
this also ties into my curiosity of different active components of marijuana that give it distinct effects....and i do not speak of"high intensity or just thc-delta-9 which we are familiar with....
different strains have different highs.... how an we quantify that which makes them different via chemical means

Re: question about normally non-active cannabinoids, in regards to budder.
I wouldn't trust wikipedia on how to make it. The guy that makes it wants to keep it a secret, I'm sure if his technique appeared on wikipedia he would edit it out. If you live in New York like your thing says you probably can't get hold of budder anyway...?
I believe delta 9-thc is the only psychoactive compound on its own but the other cannabinoids can change the effects of THC. Also to note is that the latest research shows the other cannabinoids as antipsychotics, whereas THC on its own has potential to, dare I say it, cause mental health issues, in large amounts from a young age.

no, but i definitely know that there is a big difference in the highs of sativas and indicas...and various types of breeds in between...
i want something beyond the science of; light this end then suck from this end.....
i am asking if there is a site or project i can access which quantifies the chemicals and the differences according to breed, and their psychoactive effects.......

I don't know of anywhere but I like where you're going. If I had some cash and my parents didn't throw out 100 HBWR seeds last night(my dad took them to work so I couldn't even pull them out of the trash) I'd definitely collaborate with you in order to maybe do some strain research.
You could smoke different strains and then compare the highs. I see where you're at now nvm. You'd have to find out what is chemically different in the different strains which I imagine is what you're trying to do now. Anyone got info? This is a fun topic.
