I have no problem w/ shooting white salts, but WOW watching them melt that tar and shooting it inside their veins is the most disgusting thing I have currently seen in life.

Aside from "to each his own," how do those who justify shooting black tar do it? I would like to hear the responces. My friends say anything but banging is wasteful and that's how they justify. I am all about the concervation of drugs but I can not bring myself to shoot tar.

Off subject, does anyone know the purity range of black tar? I'm from socal, and we don't weigh out bags you simply pick up a "beep" which you either smoke it all or shoot half of it.

I can't justify shooting anything. I smoked tar for 15 years and liked it just fine. In fact, I still kinda miss the taste of smoking it.

Its mainly usually just just using impure starting product for the reaction, so there may be some alkaloids/other sappy chemicals that were originally in the harvested opium that weren't properly taken out in the final product

About a couple years ago there was a lot of concern over shooting black tar it was giving users flesh eating bacteria because of botchilism developing in the cut. I wouldn't shoot it just for that reason. Sorry I have no idea what the health implications are in shooting black tar though.

Yes, it is terrible to shoot it. It's the worst possible heroin you could even think of shooting... "Does your body like shit" to quote that documentary. I honestly would never shoot the shit no matter what, I'd smoke it, but that's not even close to as bad for you.

I "justify" it because I know for a fact that the tar I get isn't as shitty as most that goes around, and due to the fact that I am meticulous about filtering as well as possible.

The key is to heat your tar. Believe it or not, some people actually don't do this. And no, heating it does NOT kill bacteria, despite popular belief. If you heat your dope long enough to kill bacteria then you've basically heated off most if not all of your dope too. The point behind heating tar is that the heat clumps alot of the cut together making it much easier to filter out.

When I'm done heating and filtering and re-filtering my shots or tar, I'm left with a crystal clear, light yellow liquid. Not a dark brown, residue-filled shot like some lazy junkies do.

All in all though, tar is the dirtiest of all heroin to shoot, I won't deny that. But over here on the west coast, us IV users don't really have much of a choice. So I do what I can to minimize harm. If you're all about smoking then more power to you, I could never get my technique down right enough :(

Some prefer (high purity) IV tar over powder for this reason. Tar contains more active alkaloids along with diacetylmorphine, including 3-mam and 6-mam as well as acetylcodeine. Thus, the overall high from black tar usually lasts longer than that of regular east coast heroin, though the rush from straight heroin is considered to be stronger and more euphoric.

Never smoked the first hit of any kind of heroin, but I have shot it. I could never stand the way meth made me feel when I smoked it so I always shot it. I figured tar was the same so I did'nt even want to bother with trying to smoke it.

West coast dope is made in mexico, and the majority of east coast heroin is produced in South America, namely Colombia.

Most of the heroin produced in the middle east either stays there or ends up in Europe. Of course some of it makes it's way over here though.

No, east coast powder is usually just diacetylmorphine (as well as whatever its cut with), because the Colombians (where most east coast dope is produced) put more effort into making heroin than the mexicans do with their tar.

Yes, if you freeze your tar you can crush it up into a powder, but you have to snort it quick or else it'll thaw back into a gooey mess.

That, or you could cut it with another powder.

The best way to do it though is to just mix it with water until you have a solution that you can put into a nasal spray bottle. Administering it that way is the best method for taking tar intranasally, but you've got to deal with the god-awful taste of it going down the back of your throat.

And yeah, using a micron filter would be your best bet for filtering anything really. But I find that by heating up the solution enough to clump the cut together and then filtering a couple times through a tightly rolled cotton, I'm left with a clear, yellow-tinted solution that hasn't given me any problems yet.

Tar can be cut with just about anything powdered dope can be cut with. The most common cut for black tar though is sugar/brown sugar. You can tell if it's cut to shit with sugar if it's got that bitter/sweet taste and smell to it when you smoke it or cook it up.

you can also dissolve tar in water like you would to shoot and snort the solution. i know chicks that do that all the time.

Dissolve tar in water and snort water. Or sometimes the tar will come as brown powder so you have to turn it back to tar by blowing on it. So if your lucky it will come powderd for you.
