I stumbled upon a site that is offering (in canadian dollars) a trip to the amazon with trust-worthy guides to partake in a one week tour of the amazon and enjoy three ayahuasca rituals.

The cost is pretty much $2000.00 but that covers the flight there and back, food, places to stay, and of course, the experience of being with shamans for my first ayahuasca journey.

Does this seem like a reasonable price? and does it seem safe most of all!!?

That is the site that you read about it and contact the owners from... it seems like a great trip, and it starts just before the new year of 2009!

I just don't know if I want to take ayahuasca 3-5 times!! during only a 10-15 day stay... it just sounds like too much... but maybe it is all for something, and I just have to get over the hurdle of drinking it the first night.

If I had $2000 and a 100% guarantee that I won't be raped while in the jungle, and that what I was going to drink would really be ayahausca, and that I wasn't going to die from anything while I was down there... I'd definitely go.

I think it would be more fun to do LSD in the jungle though, a little less intense, but god damn... that would be a trip.

just don't take anything less then the word of mouth. As travel conditions can vary....what you have there is a possible scam.

you have to consider everything from paper work to the fitness level (your own and the group's) the terrain, comfort levels, and 10 days in th fucking jungle is not as easy.

Also it is best to have your girlfriend/wife/significant-other with you on this trip.
