It apparently ruined a friendship by being a bit possessive. I thought i was being a bit flirty, by telling her not to see other guys in a joking way, she said it made her a bit uncomfortable after a while, but usually she seemed to ignore it. however, i never cared to she dated or w/e, and never stood in her way when she dated guys. anyways, even with my other friends i'd get a little jealous if i they decide to sit next to someone else and stuff. however if they give me too much attention, i get bored with them and wish they'd go away... anyways, how can i stop caring about them so much, so i wont get jealous.

Not with friends, no. I get a bit paranoid, but I'm used to dismissing it.

Relationships I can be a little jealous, but I think most people get that every now and then.

With friendships, depends how the relationship was before, I have felt a small bit of jealousy before but logic tended to wipe it out. *shrug*

well... even if i'm jealous of someone then i generally just dismiss it.
This is only relevant with my friendships seeing as i've never really been in a relationship.
Anyways, i think the reason that i'm slightly possessive is that i'm used to being used as a doormat, so i desperately want to cling onto whoever will not simply use me. At the same time though i makes it easier to dismiss these thoughts because i'm used to people simply leaving me.

I'm the opposite of posessive. I push people away. I'm pretty used to strictly random hookups at this point. I donno why, when someone tells me they love me or shit like that, it enrages me and I get really pissed and say mean things so that they will stop :(. I don't know why.

I used to be, but I'm getting better. I trust my girlfriend and I know even if she gives guys a peck or whatever it's simply platonic. Plus she isn't into hookups so I don't fear for that. And I simply trust her.

The only time I get violent and angry is when other guys try and get her drunk (or get any woman drunk really) or when they get too touchy or when they know I'm dating her but act as if she doesn't have a boyfriend anyway. Then I don't get jealous, I simply give the man a taste of my knuckles to his face and balls.

Yup, I am really protective over a really close girl friend. I dislike anyone that she starts to get close to sexually and generally want her to myself as a friend.

I have managed to let her go a bit these days. It is hard. But her new boyfriend, even though he smokes cannabis and is a bit dumb, he is cool. She is happy so I am happy.

Jealousy has ruined one too many relationships for me, including friendships. Having a kid now, I've learned to grow up.

Jealousy and possessiveness is something one USUALLY grows out of.
