Question!

How does the strength of Methadone compare to say that of Oxycodone / Hydrocodone / Morphine yada..

It takes only 20 mg of Oxy to make me feel pretty damn fucking good. Like really good.
So how much methadone should i take to achieve similar effects?

I may also be having a couple of drinks over the course of this night.

In other words, it took me about 25-35mg methadone to get around the same as 20mg of oxy would.

Well, I'd say it depends on the person. There are so many mixed reactions with Methadone, the best I can tell you is to start out at 20 mg, wait 2 (TWO!!!) hours, and add another 5-10 mg if necessary.

Man i would say start with 10 to 15mg first.

for real. the first time i took it i took like 5 or 10 and then the next time i ended up eating 25 over the course of like a few hours nad by the time they (5 mgs) were gone i was nodding like a MOTHER FUCKER lol it was nice though, quite pleasant :D

It is generally accepted that methadoneis twice the stregnth of morphine. Now with it taking such small amounts of Oxy to get you off, be especially careful with the 'done' because the high that methadone gives is nothing like an Oxy high. You might think its not working and be temted to take more but dont. It takes 4 hours for methadone to reach the peak blood concentration while most other meds after 4 hours your coming down.

You should take 10mg-15 mg and see where you are at, you might not even like the buzz. Also wait 24 hours before you redose with methadone because it is still working up to that point. If you dose 12 hours later you are doubling up and it could be too much and make you real sick or worse. Aftert a few days of using methadone you will know what the high feels like and if its what you are looking for. the first dose you wont know what to look for so you may think it sucks, but try it a few days in a row and it will grow on you.

Well put it this way, 50mg of Methadone is the LD-50 or lowest lethal dose for an opiate naive individual.

I took 20mg's my first time with methadone, I've done a good bit of oxy in my time, but I spend the whole next day puking, even if i took a drink of water I would vomit it up soon after. Start with 10 or 15.

start with 10 and bump it up as necessary...

you have plenty of time to adjust your dose to something your comfortable with... starting with too much can leave you puking for the next 24 hours and just feeling shitty...

so my advice is to start with 10 and bump it up by 5mg every couple of hours until your where you want to be...

lol that reminds me the day after that 25 mg, (my second time with the shit i think) i mother fucking threw up the orange juice i drank first thing in the morning. and then another time i was bumpin the shit and i had a beer (natty ice =\) and then i went to hit this fat blunt of kb and mother fucking lost it, all over my boys carpet and shit..
