Got my wisdom teeth yanked yesterday. Prescribed me Hydrocodone/APAP 7.5/500MG tabs. So tell me, what does the APAP mean, and if it's dangerous? And how many of these would be a good amount to feel effects from, like 4? Thanks.

30mg of hydrocodone should be enough, if not more then, for you....

if you have a serious tolerance just do a cold water extraction.....apap is not kind on your liver over a certain dose....

APAP is acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol. The federally recommended maximum daily dose is 4g, and the single dose limit is 2g. Going over those levels is not particularly dangerous unless you're going far over or doing it chronically. 10g single doses and chronic doses of over 5g is where your chance of raping your liver hits the "probable" level. Of course, if you have liver problems, the doses should be lower.

With no tolerance, take 4. That should do you fine.

Yea, I should mention there was 3 or 4 weeks inbetween each of my 8g doses.

[I took the 8g cos I was too lazy to CWE]. Also I did actually notice that a month or 2 after the last 8g dose I really couldn't handle alcohol for shit.

God my liver took a beating over those few months.

Oh yeah I used to do Dex and always had to be aware of a presence of acetaminophen in the medication, thank you for informing me that is what APAP is. So yeah... I really don't want to damage my liver at all cause i'm not even 21 yet heh. I'm thinkin I'll try about 3 tabs some night, split them each in half. 1500 mg of APAP should be safe, correct?

snorting multiple grams of anything in one sitting is ill advised, especially APAP.
