Ethanol Extractions
I know about 90% of this is gonna be retarded but w/e i don't have a reputation to uphold or anything.
So i was wondering if it would be possible to make smokeable extracts from the following using 89% ethyl Alcohol;
Marijuana
Wild Dagga
Passion Flower
sinicuichi
If i'm not as retarded as i think what would be the process for doing these extractions?

find out if the active chemicals will disolve into non polar substances like alcohol... i know THC will... but soak it in a jar with some ethanol shaking occasionally for a few days...
filter out contents of jar into another container... let this evaporate in a hot water bath.... this should leave you with a sticky residue... scrape it up and add it to what you will.. i like mixing it with a bit of weed...
if you want a more pure THC extraction, look at butane honey oil....

Re: Ethanol Extractions
Yeah, extractions are simple and straight forward. I know the first two are definately possible and I'm assuming the other will be the same way.
A good one to try is extract thujone out of wormwood. The effects are comparable to weed, but it has it's own mental aspect.

Re: Ethanol Extractions
I've made wormwood extract. I should again sometime, just to try it out again ... just so you know, I didn't find it to be uber amazing or anything.
I just soaked and shook a jar of wormwood covered in everclear for a few days. Then filter the now-green-everclear through a mesh of some sort into tupperware.
I boiled a bit of water and poured it into a big bowl. Then I let the tupperware float in the hot water for awhile, boiled some more water, replaced the cold water with hot water ... and after a little while I would be left with a green film on the tupperware, after all the everclear evaporated. Scrape it up into a mound of sticky, smelly wormwood extract, can't tell its green anymore.
The smoke tastes good but if the resin touches your fingers, and your fingers enter your mouth ... I find that disgusting.
This probably works with most plants, but I dunno. Maybe some plants goodies aren't soluble in alcohols?

Yeah well I know it won't work with Salvia D. which is another thing i'm getting a live plant of, i plan to just buy some nice quality acetone although i'm not sure from where.

Re: Ethanol Extractions
In order... yes, yes, just fucking convert to the insoluble chloride in aqueous solution, no fucking idea.
As for how, you've already been told the basic concept of an evaporated tincture in the posts above...
