I have had this really bad sore throat lately. And I only have the cough syrup with dextromethorphan (and no other additives) on my bathroom shelf. So I've been kinda chugging it as the day progresses, without really paying attention, and... suddenly... I'm quite confused.

I have to meet this girl in a few hours whom I haven't seen in years. I don't want to show up acting all weird...

What can I do to counter it?

I'm already drinking a beer... Do you think that more alcohol might help bring me back to base level. Kinda ground me a bit more, if you know what I mean?

The only thing I can think would be to get it out of your system. Keep drinking diuretics like beer and caffeine so you'll piss a bunch out. And eat solid foods like bread and such. Maybe even have a little nap, you should be fine. how much did you drink/how quick?

It's just that, I'm not equipped to handle this... I was already kinda nervous about meeting this girl, plus she's not a big fan of drugs... So she might think I dosed intentionally.

I took it hours ago, so I think I might already be peaking. Like I said, it's no fitfh plateau experience or anything... Just enough to fuck with my head and get me extra nervous.

And as for rescheduling, this girl is pretty busy. She works and goes to university, among other things. It's hard to find time to see her.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll pull through... I once managed to hide the fact that I was coming down off of meth with my ex-girlfriend, who was VERY against hard drugs...

Definitely couldn't tell you how much I've consumed, nor at which intervals in between.

And hey, it might just be first plateau, but it's enough to kinda throw an already not-so healthy brain into shambles.
