Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
Ive been smoking crack pretty regularly for the past 3 years, at least 3 days a week... 2 weeks ago a friend gave me 2 mushroom chocolates with 2.5g of high quality mushrooms in each... After smoking crack all nite, I needed something else because I was out of money, so I ate both chocolates. I got to tripping pretty hard, and since the trip I havent been craving smoking the stone... This is great for me b/c I'd spend all my money on rock and then be really really depressed until I got more money... I havent felt depressed in 2 weeks either... Has anyone else had this before? I feel great! Mushrooms NEVER did anything for me before, but now I think im going to do them on a regular basis, especially if this is what mushrooms do to me...
Whats ya ppl think? Anyone else experience something like this?

Re: Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
You took a wonderful life changing experience, and fucked it all up by saying you will trip all the time now. Good job on winning the lottery and then losing the ticket faggot.

Re: Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
I knew one kid once who did crack, it really had him fucked up
do whatever you can to go off the addiction, if tripping every once in a while works then go for it

Re: Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
Stupid noob I couldn't agree more. Drugs like that aren't made for constant use or getting "fucked up" or that sort of thing. I've had several experiences while under the influence of hallucinogens where I decided, "Drugs are stupid, and a waste of health, time, and money. I am going to stop doing all drugs." And I'm sure that my thoughts are more rational, logical, and sane while under the influence of these mind bending substances then normally, but guess what? I still take drugs with quite the degree of regularity. These substances just show you the path you should be on, they can't make you walk down it. You need to do that yourself, which takes massive amounts of self control and discipline. And let's face it, if you had those things, you wouldn't be smoking crack constantly in the first place.

Mushrooms are great for nit picking your flaws. I always feel like a better stronger person after a strong mind fuck.
LSD never had that effect on me.

Fuckin A right man, and I've reached that same conclusion myself, but I've also reached the conclusion that everything is meaningless in the end, and thus pointless, so why even live? Same applies to why do drugs? The answer for both is a universal and resounding "because I want to"
And I have experienced a life changing trip on mushrooms, where I made very large, unexpected and risky life changes in pursuit of my goal, and in the end, it worked out better than I could have ever imagined. Like a fucking storybook man.
And ever since then, my faith in life and myself has grown, and I am happier than I have ever been in my life, and I really do owe it to mushrooms. I've posted the story on here a few times, I may have it archived on my HDD somewhere, I may post it up if I can find it. It is fucking long though.
EDIT: easier to just search it up on the forum instead of my multiple HDD with shit scattered all over, waiting to be organized, anyway, here, it's fucking long though, if you even care to read it, it is quite inspiring though.

....holy shit.... this is quite disturbing. I've been going through quite a bit of this and now I'm leaving this shitty little town in Indiana when my probation ends Halloween. I've had experiences of living out full lives of myself and other people who are what I could've become, but these were inspired by DXM, diphen, and 2c-t-7. Fucking crazy....

Yeah, Indiana isn't worth shit. I'm just going to get in my car and just keep on driving until some place looks decent to settle in...
Back on track with the thread, don't trip too often because it will lose it's magic and all the mysteries behind it. You'll just know it's a drug and it'll lose it's ability to give you a good mindfuck.

You use what you can get. I had an out of body experience the first time I smoked weed on DXM. Third person perspective to way up high through reality into a bright light and the plunged into the darkness below. Diphen show you a new meaning of fear. I've probably done it 5 times now. None were pleasant, but they taught me a lot about what your mind can perceive versus reality. Then, I got my 2c-t-7 and fell in love.

Re: Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
By on a regular basis I didnt mean every day!!! They're kind of hard to come by anyways, but I guess I can get them fairly consistently... Maybe just if I feel like getting some crack... I know I just have to fight it, but I figure if this can help me, then great...
I was really just commenting on what this experience has done for me, and wanted to know if anyone else has had an experience like this...
I didnt mean to piss so many people off.

Tripping shows you 'the light'. It doesn't give you the light.

Re: Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
That's not necessarily true, although it certainly won't be as profound and life changing. You'll also need a MUCH larger dose in order to get effects even somewhat resemblant of your other trip. Personally, I think you should trip no more often then once every 2 weeks or month and that's REALLY pushing it. Ideally, trip no more then once every 2 - 4 months. You may have experienced the trip in real time, but your mind and soul need time to digest and properly absorb what you've learned, and apply it to your life.

Re: Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
Shrooms can definitely give you those life-changing revelations. I quit smoking because of them.
But you have to really want to do it. Since I didn't really want to quit, I'm almost back to being a regular smoker... although I cut back quite a bit, the shrooms didn't change me, they just brought out something in me.
If you want to quit smoking crack, you really have to work. Getting yourself addicted (psychologically or physically) to another drug isn't going to solve your problem.

Re: Mushrooms stopping crack addiction?!?
One of the major life-changing possibilities mushrooms has is ego-loss. Your ego got overtaken with Crack addiction and the mushrooms simply showed you your mind prior to your addiction.
However as stupid noob said, you lost your lottery ticket.
