Re: Standardized extracts?
Anyone have any clue?
Is it just cleaning the leaves of useless compounds, then extracting, evaporating, and the re-dissolving the extract in X amount of acetone/iso?
I mean like, take 1000 grams of foliage, clean with water, then extract into acetone, evap acetone, at this point be left with a pile of salvinorin extract of unknown potency... then you re-dissolve in iso/acetone say 100ml of... then take 100 grams of foliage, split it 100 ways and then put 1ml of extract solution onto each single gram...? would this make a standardized extract?
Sorry if this seems stupid or pointless to some... I am just trying to gather some information for the future.

Re: Standardized extracts?
I'm pretty sure the standardized extracts have at least a specific amount of the active chemicals and that's why they are called standardized. I'm only saying that because some bands give how much of the active chemicals should be in said product.
