What do you all use when cleaning your ever so precious smoking paraphernalia? More so what ritual do you partake in cleansing said items?
I myself prefer Formula 420 with warm water and some Q-tips. It leaves a hint of orangey goodness and my glass is always shiny clean like the day I bought it.

I don't clean them unless they clog. And even then, just enough to unblock it. I like the CCG.

But, if a pipe really needed it ... I would probably just boil it or put it on the stove.

I usually just threw them in a bag with rubbing alcohol and shook it up and then used q-tips to get all the resin out.

A bobby pin, a paper clip, and a razor blade. I smoke my resin.

I clean out what resin I can with a paperclip or something similair and smoke that, then I soak in rubbing alchohol mixed with salt, shake up in a bag and let sit overnight. Looks brand new

I soak mine in rubbing alcohol and use a paper clip to get any stragglers.

Alcohol and salt works better than any of those store bought cleaners. Hands down.

Anhydrous isopropanol.

Plate.

Razor blade.

Paper clip with a lighter (it helps if you have a BiC), you can stick the end of the paper clip in one of the two vents on the back like 1/8th of an inch, and bend it to a 90 degree angle.

Then you heat the pipe and the paper clip up with the lighter, don't heat the pipe too much, if it starts to smoke you heated it too much. You're just trying to make the resin melt down a little, and the heated paper clip helps loosen any stubborn pieces.

You just scrape it all onto a small folded piece of tin foil shaped like a V (make sure you don't wrinkle it up), and the funnel it all into a waterfall bong cap. This is ideal because you can poke the holes just above where the resin is, and create a little bowl for the resin to sit and bubble/boil in. It won't boil through and you'll trap all the smoke in the bottle. This is better than a waterfall because given that you have the right size of hole in the bottom of the bottle you can burn all of the resin down to a brown ashy substance (which means its totally gone).

The only thing about it is... it tastes nasty. Not as nasty as cigarettes, but still pretty bad. Its pretty much like what you'd think inhaling burning tar would feel like.

I haven't cleaned my pipe in years. I just replace the screen whenever it gets too nasty. It's metal so it doesn't have small holes that clog.

Steam cleaner. After I'm done with it you would never know it was used.

I don't clean my pipe. If you let the residue build up enough you can just put the flame to the bowl or any other orifice and hit the resin without even scraping it.

boil it.

a piece of coat hanger i bend as convenient with pliers. a knife also. i, too, smoke my resin.

sometimes i run out of herb, and i want to get high without having to purchase more, as when i run out it generally means i'm also out of cash(i have a lot of bills), and since i don't smoke enough in between these periods, i scrape because there's not enough resin to smoke by just lighting the bowl

Cheap acetone, then you can evap off and collect the resin...

This, plus the use of q-tips/pipe cleaners/paperclips to scrape out the resin. I also use a coffee filter in order to collect theresin like the addict I proudly am. Sure, it's disgusting, but what if I run out of weed? I need to get high somehow!
