How much tramadol should someone with little to no opiate tolerance take in order to feel the effects?

It's decent at 300mgs and it lasts what feels like forever. If I remember correctly, that's 6 pills.

It never did any of that for me and I usually took it with 10mgs of cyclobenzaprine.

I never had much use for it. Don't get me wrong, if your back was aching or something and you take a few your back will feel better, but it does very little as far as "fun" effects are concerned.

It's fun, makes sex AMAZING, and it fucks you up pretty well, don't listen to these kids that go all "Tramadol doesn't fuck you up!" because they have no clue what they are talking about. I have used hard drugs for around 4 years, and trams work fine for me.

It's not an adequate substitute for a real narcotic analgesic. The high is almost nonexistant, and everyone I know has either been made sick or made to have a seizure by this terrible drug.

Personally, I had a seizure. Unless you enjoy waking up to the police and paramedics standing over you as you thrash on the pavement, throw the damn pills in the toilet and get a real drug.

I agree. Although many people CLAIM to be able to get profound effects from it, it just isn't worth the risks. They recommend taking doses WELL over the safe dose range. Anything over 400 mg in one 24 hours period is suggested to regularly cause seizures. I ASSUME you're looking to have a good time, not possibly hurt yourself while seizing and maybe have to visit a hospital. There is a reason that it isn't scheduled, and that's because it just isn't abuse able like other drugs. And let’s not forget the damage it can cause... I'll still never forgive it for the role it played in the death of the Ol' Dirty Bastard... R.I.P....

As a word of advice, eat before you do it.

In my experience, if I didn't eat & dosed, the next day would be hell. The high's alright, but definitely something you start out on, not stay on.

And I can pretty safely say that you are NOT the OPs doctor, so you can't tell him to "not worry about the seizures". Even if you were LUCKY enough to not have a seizure or worse from such doses, there is no guarantee that he will share your luck. For all you know he could be allergic to Tramadol all together and have a seizure from less then 400 mg. (I've known people...) I've taken 400 mg before with no tolerance and felt nothing but a slight uncomfortably. They really just don't work for a lot of people. A small percentage of the population claim they work superbly for analgesia, and an even smaller percentage claim they work for getting a buzz. There seem to even be a handful of people out there that claim to be able to get a good "high" from them... But to be honest, I think they either just don't know what they are talking about, are blowing smoke up our asses, are combining them with other drugs, are feeling placebo, or have never tried real drugs before.

Well for me, i weigh <135 and have little to no tolerance

50mg's - buzz

100mg's - mini nod

150mg's - nod

and i've never done any more than that. It makes me really hyperactive, and it feels like i have an endless supply of energy. I can jog for hours on tramadol. It makes me slightly jittery, but benzo's or weed can take that help that.

Edit: i just read all the other post, and i think some of you are fucking ignorant. I have much experience with oxycodone and hydrocodone, and i still think tramadol gives a decent high. Anyone who's had a seizure from it is a dumbfuck. Do not tell me i'm wrong for saying it's stupid to take 2-3x the dosage known to cause seizures your first time or anytime thereafter.

150mg - 200mg is just fine for me, anything more than that and I'm in NodCity and I can't keep my head up, let alone my eyelids.

If you could do a clean up, then IM or IV would be the best way. But if your not into that shit, just chew it up a little bit and swallow.

Also, don't take them all at once. Take 2, and then redose 2 more pills an hour later, and so on. That way you get the most out of it, because the bioavailability increases with repeated dosing.

Tramadol keeps me awake, and even makes me a bit jittery kind of like caffeine. It's not very recreational, but it's really good for activities like school or work or physical labor or excersize. It makes me feel like I have a limitless amount of energy.
