Over the last 8 or so months, I have been noticing something...

Cocaine, ketamine, or any other illegal powder for that matter ALWAYS gets sold in some sort of shifty packaging. ie. cigarette foil, aluminum foil, cellophane and even the corners of brown paper bags... and this is sometimes the vessel for a 1/4 ounce of expensive powders.

I have not been able to comprehend why people do this!?

Is it possibly so it can be ditched easily to appear as garbage?

That is really the only logical thing that comes to mind.

Does anyone else notice this conspiracy for expensive drugs being carried in half assed bags?

In all honesty, it's just the ghetto way. It's like that for everything. It's like getting a qp in an old chip bag. IT's dirty and nasty, but it happens.

Find more professional dealers?

Well if its in a zip lock baggy some is bound to get stuck on the sides, in the corners etc. If its inside paper, it all comes out easy and clean, plus you cant get intent to distribute for having paper lying about, but if you had a thing of zip lock's you could.

Honestly, find some better hook ups. While most "ghetto" like dealers will give you stuff in the torn off corner of a grocery bag or something similar, a good dealer will give you your "powder" in a glass vial. These vials can be easily and cheaply obtained from most any smoke shop, usually about 50 cents each. So... I don't know... I guess find better dealers, demand your current dealers stop being such poor assholes, or... I dunno, live with it I guess. Hope this was helpful in some way... Also I'm curious, what part of this is a conspiracy?

Good dealers minimize cost, 50 cents a vial is rediculous and stupid.

It's hard to explain to a police officer why you need 3 or 4 hundred glass vials... Sandwich bags in a drawer with saran wrap and zip lock bags isn't a hard one to explain at all.

To Drew; I bring my own bags, i hate opening sandwhich bags that are tight as fuck and cut off near the end...

It's not exclusive to powdered drugs at all, I've more than several times gotten weed that was in some sort of ghetto packaging. Ive gotten shrooms in candy bags too.


Anyway, I don't think there is any conspiracy about it, or any good reason, as far as I have witnessed its just what you do when you dont have a good baggy handy.

ive gotten weed otc at mcdonalds in soda cup and ive gotten pills in a hairdryer, inside a shrink wrapped box, in a bag with a recipt. hell ive gotten a half ounce of weed put in my hand loose cause we didnt have a single thing to put it in. however, iv only ever gotten powder in small baggies. nothing ghetto, strictly dime sacks

I always get my powdered drugs in small zip-lock bags.

Small time dealing(meaning shit moves fast) and a mix of using what ever is on the spot to move shit...

Of course its less odd to see some random looking trash on the ground than some baggies, but I believe you to be overthinking this way to much...

Plus them little viles suck and folks know NARC officers use them b/c their hard to swallow and can be "retrieved" later on...

But yeah basically its w/e is around when they get a call...

Anyways, there's a reason powdered drugs are put in baggies: It prevents degradation much more than putting them in paper. This applies more to RC's and such that degrade faster more than coke, but eh.

for real i've gotten weed from this one guy in all sorts of things.. newspaper, cut up magazine, fucking chip bags like the dude said.. all kinda shit. sometimes i felt bad for the dude and brought him a bunch of plastic baggies and was like 'make 'em last' and he laughed at me and was like word.. this should get me through an hour or two..

Ive gotten weed more then once in a piece of plastic stapled or melted together.

I have never seen powder in anything except regular baggies. wtf?
