So my friend had to quit smoking pot because when he smoked weed he would start shaking like crazy. His whole body, not quite as violent as a seizure, more like really violent shivering.

One time we were all sleeping about an hour after blazing (not a ridiculously large amount, if I can remember) and he just started shaking like crazy. He was still perfectly coherent, we asked him what it felt like and he described it as 'not unpleasant'. We gave him a blanket and some water, and eventually they just went away.

Apparently they have happened a few more times when he was alone I think and a couple times with other people so he has just decided to stop smoking pot. This guy has been smoking pot every day for the past two years or so and this has never happened.

So any ideas? I've never heard of anything like this before so I thought I'd ask you guys.

I twitch when I smoked weed. I've never actually figured out whether or not I was just paranoid and thought I was twitching or if I actually was twitching. But everytime I smoke weed I feel like I have fucking parkinsons or tourettes or something, my muscles just shoot up and twitch/spaz at random.

My friend, whos a girl, when she gets stoned, she cant be in the dark or around black lights or flashing shit. If she is in the dark for too long or her eyes are closed for too long she will start having a slight to massive seizure.

Its natural at its finest.

i get it too after i smoke good amounts of weed... its not a seizure...

just a little thing i remember joepedo saying, too much dopamine being released in the brain can cause shaking.. but im not even sure if weed causes you to pump out enough dopamine to manage this...

i know very little about neurochemistry... someone else can probably think of a much better explanation..

That's happened to me twice. I got a whole check up on my reflexes and shit by a Neurologist to see if I have epilepsy. Turns out I don't.




Fear and Loathing

I know some kid that had something weird happen to him when he smoked, at first they thought it was a heart attack but I doubt it was as hes probably barely 18. He ended up fainting and having to go to the hospital.
But a couple months later he rolled balls and danced his ass off at a rave with no adverse effects, so it could have been brought on by an outside influence other than drugs.

Ha i get the same thing i'm just sitting there then my leg twitches loads.
