My crazy medical problem
So about 6 1/2 years ago I had a 10Lb baby and my uterus and cervix were torn during the birth. I had a lot of problems with my health for years after that until I had surgery to remove the damaged half of my uterus. Everything was going well up until about 3 months ago when the constant bleeding, pain, nausea, migraines and fatigue started again. I went to the doctor and she did lacroscopic surgery to look at my uterus and she discovered ANOTHER rupture that was not previously there! She tells me that my uterine tissue is degrading to the point that the tissue is almost like jelly and I have to have surgery AGAIN to remove the rest of my uterus on February 6th.
(sigh) At least I won't get the curse anymore.

Re: My crazy medical problem
Awww. Not some weird infection is it?
I'm just a 'noid who thinks docs are more about dressing in white & impressing their mothers than they should be. On the other hand there is more to medicine than doctors have time to more than scratch the surface on & one is lucky if one's problems are anywhere near what the doctor has learned.
Good luck eh?

Re: My crazy medical problem
I've been sterile since after she was born. I was pretty sad about it for a long time, but there's no use being sad about something that can't be changed. Sometimes I think it would be cool to adopt.

Re: My crazy medical problem
Is getting your uterus removed a major surgery, or is it relatively small?

Sadly your parents were too retarded to consider it.

Re: My crazy medical problem
at least you've got your daughter though? that counts for a lot, would be worse if the problem was there(which it wouldn't be..) and you hadn't any children yet.
i hope the operation goes okay, and yeah, adoption can be good.

What? Without a uterus, you can have all the sex you want! Any sane person would celebrate that fact.

Re: My crazy medical problem
Hmmmmm think of all the sinless sex you and hubby are gonna be able to enjoy now without guilt or worry!
The Lord has only seen fit to grant you one child, its not your fault that your womb will no longer quicken. There's no sin now in banging til the rafters shake.
:P
Joking of course . Hope it all goes well for you, girl.
