Ok TL;DR: There's this girl I like we are both enrolled in this course over the summer holidays (which is now because I'm an aussie). I talked to her and got to know her a little bit before the course started now I would like to advance it. What is the best way to go about it?

Thank you very much for the advice. That's the balance I want to signal my intentions but not push it too far. I've got very limited time to do this.

Oh as far as the penal colony reference goes its pretty ironic that as australians we are a lot more cultured and less ignorant than americunts. And as far as brits go YOU COULDN'T EVEN HOLD ONTO A FUCKING PRISON CAMP.
