Quick question op... how long have you been taking Zoloft? Has it helped you at all?

I took Zoloft once upon a time and I've had experience with this and: Pot, Opiates, Benzos and DXM. DXM shouldnt be taken with Zoloft and it's highly documented why. The pot, opiates and benzos worked how they always did as far as I could tell, so personally I think you're cool with those.

Edit: I looked at the Erowid link, I didn't know you couldn't take Demerol with SSRIs

ive been taking it for like a year. i keep asking for a switch, but she just says to up the dose. it hasnt done anything except make me happier. im not taking it for depression, for general anxiety disorder and panic attacks. ive taken benzos theraputically during an mri and they work SOOOO well. im probably not going to abuse them if she ever gives me them, but i already have access to them. seriously, if you have anxiety, benzos are where its at.

If you are in High School, have a panic attack. That's what led me here today... prescription to Zoloft and soon a prescription to Xanax.

dude i get panic attacks all the time. but never at school. ive never passed out or done any crazy shit, just like a weird episode. the anxiety is more of an issue

basically u want to avoid drugs that act on seratonin. i took legit E on prozac once and didnt feel anything, tho that may not be safe to take. DXM while on zoloft can giv u seratonin syndrome and is a very risky and stupid combination. amphetamines and shit is ok tho.

to those who went to this thread because they were wondering about zoloft effectiveness: i was perscribed it for anxiety, and i only noticed it helping with depression (i feel more optimistic). my friend takes it and it helps him for anxiety but not depression. ssri's are hit and miss with people, you needa experiment till u find one that works with you

I take 150mg Zoloft and 150mg Welbutrin XL, and i've been ok with pot. DXM, Im not so sure...

skiiping a single dose won't let you use drugs you can't use (or shouldn't use) while on ssris. it takes a while to get out of your system, just as it takes a while to build up to levels that control depression.

i used to be scripted an SSRI, adderal;l, and klonopin at the same time, and took the adderall and klonopin at much higher doses than rxd, and had no ill effects. then again i also took dxm on ssris and it just lasted like twice as long, so.....

When I was on ssri's (lexapro for ocd), weed was different (better) and the only other thing I did was DMT, which barely worked.
But my friend on prozac trips as hard as anyone or even harder with whatever he takes.

also, i read that amps can cause seratonin syndrome, but im assuming that was abuse. im talking theraputic doses of adderall, would that be okay?
