Darvocet
not too long ago I popped 4 Darvocet N-100's, and after just researching it I found they each have 650 mg Acetaminophen.
"Each tablet of Darvocet-N®100 contains 100 mg (176.8 µmol) propoxyphene napsylate and 650 mg (4,300 µmol) acetaminophen"
That's 2600mg of Acetaminophen, is this going to fuck with my liver at all?

Re: Darvocet
I don't really get the whole "darvocet isn't recreational bit" it may not be the most recreational thing around, but it's still a synthetic opiate and it still gives me a buzz.

Darvocet is about as fun as being sober and it's cardiotoxic.

Re: Darvocet
I'd like to know how you know it will cause damage to your liver specifically, and how you do NOT know what the actual hepatoxic limits are at the same time?
Also, google liver damage APAP

Re: Darvocet
ehh i think darvocets alright, but ive only done it a few times and i did between 5-7
it would probly be better if you did a CWE, if thats even possible with darvs, idk ive never tried it but i dont see any reason why it wouldnt work...
i could be wrong.

You can do a CWE on SOME propoxyphene preparations.
Propoxyphene comes as either the napsylate or the hydrochloride. One is soluble in water, the other is insoluble. If you have the soluble one, yes, you can CWE. Otherwise, no.
However, I can't really remember which is which right now.

Hmm..CWE on Darvos...I just cast these things aside unless I actually need something to stop hurting but hadnt thought about doing that. Would it even be worth it

No.
I was only pointing out that a CWE was possible, not that it was worthwhile :)
I mean, sure, you get rid of the APAP, but it still sucks and it's still cardiotoxic.

Re: Darvocet
the propoxyphene will probably fuck with it more since it has a hepatoxic metabolite. Not something you want to take everyday.
No.

it has to be propoxy HCL. If it is propxy napsylate it will not work. I could be wrong though.
Cough cough, hepatoxic cough.

If it is, that's just one more reason to leave it alone :)it has to be propoxy HCL. If it is propxy napsylate it will not work. Thanks, I can never remember which is which...

yeah maybe i mixed it up with the apap. Because with the doses of apap/propoxy you have to take to get high it can get pretty high.
Anyway, I am kind of right. The propoxyphene is not hepatoxic but the apap can be at those high doses required to get high.( since you cant do a CWE)
So basically you get the best of both you get the cardiotoxic metabolite of propoxyphene and the hepatoxic effects of apap.

Re: Darvocet

He was saying that every time you post, you only get half of the story right. So, either don't say things you aren't 100% sure of, go do the research BEFORE you make an ass of yourself, or simply STFU with the stupid bullshit that you seem to be making up off the top of your head.
And don't tell ME to worry about myself, because I make it a point not to say anything unless I am positive, otherwise, I add a qualifier such as, "I think, maybe, IIRC, etc" And I don't see Obbe being quite the ass that you have been, so, I think YOU need to worry about YOURSELF and your memory and research skills, because they fucking suck.

I believe i said I COULD BE WRONG THOUGH.
Then he corrected me, and then i figured out why I was mixed up.
I dont need your clarification every single time stupid noob, believe it or not. Atleast i posted some useful info. I know you love me that much and you have made it your mission to clarify everything for me but I ont need your help.
