I had a friend come over last night, it was after the party and everything. Me and this girl are great friends, very close. But we went through a phase for about the first 6 months we knew each other where I know we either really really liked each other, or in my case I allowed myself to fall in love with her. And all the while I couldn't touch her because I got on good authority that she had herpes...I made a thread about it. Breaks my heart really.


Anyway, so she comes over last night with her new bf. Every time she called me, which was all through the night, she KEPT saying 'I LOVE YOU'. Now, we both do love each other very much, but I could tell she was almost intentionally making her bf uneasy with me. First she asked for my pass to see my pics, and when I wouldn't tell her she said why? It's nothing I haven't seen...Then right after that she asks her bf if she could go on a road trip with me, across the country, which is gonna last a week. Lol, talk about makin the guy uneasy...he wouldn't say a single word to me. I could very easily tell he wasn't comfortable, and that kind of sucks for me because as much as I love her, I can't do SHIT with her. And what do you guys make of it? I know she does not want to break up with him, he gives her all access to his cars but she has no problem, sober or drunk, telling me how much she loves me right in front of him. It seems like every time I finally think were in the friends zone, she's still holding out hope that we would get together. Breaks my heart really :( What do you guys make of it? Would any of you do the same in front of your BF or GF?

Get in touch with the boyfriend, without the girls knowledge, and tell him that you can see how awkward he is when she talks like that, and you have no intention of doing anything with her.

Also, I donno if this makes a difference, but she's told me she loved me and shit and whatnot since they began going out. It's not as if anything has changed, and she tells me the same when he's not there. So if he had no problem with it before they were formally together, why would he not be cool with it now?
