Oh man! My mom basically, knew I smoked cigs from spring till now, and let it be. then i told her i smoked weed when we were talking over the show intervention, but she kinda let it slide/"dont ask dont tell". So anyway, A few incedents have been making her pissed. Xmas Eve me and my cousin were going to get my grandma a USB keyboard to fix the computer, kinda as a present. So we go from store to store in like a 10 mile radius. In the city too, so you can imagine how long this took. Everywhere was closed. Anyway, long story short we burned a jay and then we rolled by a beer store by the Wal-Mart and chugged a 40 on the way home. so theres that suspicion, hen i drank a big tall whisky and water at the house. She took a sip and she was like "Alright, just this." so that was fine and good. Then yesterday I wanted to go to my friend Roger's House. I rolled up, and we tipped a few brews over Halo (like 2 or 3) at 3:00 pm or so. so i pull up at the house 3 1/2 hours later, with a movie (superbad), and some various shit I bought. She smelled the beer on me and was like "Driving! A cop could smell that if he pulled you over" and really disappoointed seeming but she said she was ok with it. She's been stressed lately and going to bed earlier and never happy, and she insists its not even a majority of my fault. she just says its a parent's worry! and this and that. I can agree with her there so i let it be, kool-aid. anyway, so today my grandma gives me a beer, pulls me aside and is like "I caught wind of the pot-smoking" then she was kinda cool but not really, like "I dont want you driving!" and "if you have to drive, count yourself out of the smoking, say you have a headache or just say the truth"
so all this is transpiring and I'm like fuck. Today my mom and I (and my gay step dad) watched Fight Club again, and it was ok she was nice and lively with me for a while, then she devolved into this enigmatic pessimistic attitude and sluggishness. i dunno, shes not as interested in me and my teen side tells me to let it blow ove rbut I'm like wtf here?

May I add a little side note? I am very devoted to my studies, I have been smoking out over break though, should give me the extra fuel I need to get through the year. By devoted, I mean I make A's and high B's..... it's not bad, it's the best I've ever done because I'm motivated by the fear of my mom being able to blame my rare MARIJUANA use. I don't really fuck around either. Usually only 1 night out a weekend, and sometimes I don't do anything on the weekends. I can see her bitching about the driving part, nothing else. I agree it is stupid.

I was about the highest I've ever been last night, but all that is there, no matter how badly I typed it, is true.

She is doubtful of me, when I go places (today i did community service at a nursing home. [no, i didnt get in trouble, it is for school] i came home and i told her what happened but I kind of fudged the time I left since I didn't remember. she asked if i went driving around and I was like yeah.) but she never truly digs in and gets bitchy.

basically, i make pretty good grades and I smoke purple to ease my mind. my stepsister is failing the 7th grade because she likes boyzz too much and gets fingered at the movies, is on the phone 24/7 and stuff.)

The thing is mate, parents are always going to worry about you. Even when you are fully grown and stuff, you'll always be their child.

As it goes your mum sounds pretty cool...She don't mind you drinking, she disagrees with the cheeba but steps back and she worries about you getting hurt driving under the influence.

I know parents who'd disown their kid if they found out they only smoked weed, let alone drove or drunk whilst stoning.
When my dad found out I smoked weed (I used to...Stopped ages ago) he didn't talk to me for about 2 weeks and that was shitty.

Accept it mate...It will blow over as far as I can see. Just give her a bit of breathing space to get used to it and don't make it too damn obvious that you're doing it. That's just mean.

I agree with anyone that said that it'll blow over and she just cares about you. Parental love seems to work that way.
