I wasa thinking about those seat belt tighteners, they go off in a wreck and snug the seatbelt down tight. I took a used one apart once, it shoot about 5 steel balls down a tube and around a bend and they hit a gear type of thing and it in turns spins really fast and tightens down the belt. They are also electronically activated.
