Broken game
Why is it that when I have a soft spot for a girl, it ends up putting a big dent in my game and fucking everything up? Does anyone else experience this?
Every time I hang out with a new girl, and happen to develop strong feelings, those stupid emotions fuck with my game and it more often than not ends up not working out?
Fuck.

Re: Broken game
Alright, might as well ask.
I hung out with a girl tonight who I was into for a long time during high school. She had feelings for me too, as I later found out, but it never ended up working out. We remained good friends until today, both of us at different universities.
Well, it's the break, and I've been hanging out with her quite often. I took her out tonight to get coffee and talk, then came home and played some old school video games. The whole time I could feel all those feelings getting churned up again. That really clouded my ability to read signals. So then I took her home, and texted her later, saying that hanging out with her tonight brought up a lot of feelings I used to have for her, and it made tonight feel like a date for a little bit. She responded saying she had a lot of fun, and thanked me for the coffee.
I'm guessing if she felt the same, she would've said something along the likes of, yeah, I felt like that too.
I think I was pretty straightforward, but she can be pretty dense about this kind of thing. So what do you guys think? Drop it, right?
I wish I could line up my feelings in a row in front of a deep pit and fire rounds into every last one. I'm really sick of girls fucking with my head and I just want it to stop now.

Re: Broken game
I wouldn't discount her yet, she said she had fun, with no implications that she wished it didn't happen. So, I say, don't give up yet.
And yeah, it happens. Or what'll happen to me is I start to crush on a girl and lose all abilities... Starting making mistakes, realize I'm making them, but not be able to do anything about it.
It's life I guess, confidence and practice help, but don' t expect to ever get away from it.

Re: Broken game
What do you do to fuck it up though? You don't go out and beat their dog or anything like that do you? Cause that would explain the problem.
I think it's kind of sweet when shit like that happens. It shows that the person is real; not one of those people who has perfected the act of being so fucking suave just to get into a girls pants. Perhaps the problem isn't about your lack of "game", maybe it is the type of girls you are dating.

Sometimes i get a little off course, depending on the girl. Usually something she does or says makes me stall for a quick second as i make a realization at that moment. You could see it bright as day when something like this happens with me, it shows. Ive pretty much got use to it though, whereas i notice the girl acting goofy in my presence more than I'm being "soft" towards her.
Its just real/life, thats how you know your living the real deal, with emotions fully intact. As for your situation, what are you trying to get out of this? A possible relationship, or just some quick fun/action? Me personally, i could care less if a girl told me she liked/enjoyed or time together or had fun, verbal comments are just backup to physical reactions/actions. Im watching her and from her signals/actions i get my answers....simple as that. I suggest if you hang out with her again, fuck trying to get verbal confirmations about shit, setup some moves and see what happens. If she has feelings for you, or shes ok with your moves she'll let you flow or she'll reject you.
I would not drop it. Thats just your mind telling you that you didn't get anywhere with her therefore you failed. Typical male mind, you want to know the truth get down to business and get the job done.

Re: Broken game
Well, see, it's different when you're both away for college. I don't want a relationship with her because of the distance. But I don't want to make her feel used, either. So it's kind of a toss-up. Oh well. I'm drunk and I'm going to sleep now.

Re: Broken game
See, if you're anything like me.. if it's a girl you don't really care about you can be as obstreperous around her as you like. She may love that asshole character you show.
Girl you do like, you shit yourself. Lose your cool, have some sort of stress in your head that you have to have her. Then you just can't function like you should and fail.

Be a funny asshole (but don't hit her, lol) and she'll love it.
Keep telling her every time she makes a mistake that she's screwing up her chance of getting with you.
Oh, and nice vocab Zero. Had to look that one up. Nice to see a word I haven't seen before...especially on totse S&A.
