I am in a similar situation but I think it's because deep down it's what I really want. I don't get a whole lot out of spending time with people; at least not as much as I get out of doing things on my own. Obviously it is important, and it's good to talk about things and connect, get some outside perspective, but at the moment I'm very satisfied with the balance between relationships and emotional autonomy. I guess some sex would be nice but it's not a problem or a priority.
