Never really seen the point. For many years we didn't celebrate it for religious reasons and even now I'd rather spend the day getting the room painted so its nice for when Her-In-Doors gets back at the end of the week (she's been at home in the Fatherland).

My Mom and Sis will come over this evening and I'll cook them something traditional German(Spaetzle, Fillet steak and heavy meaty cream sauce). But thats as Xmassy as it gets this year in Chez Ketch.

I'll spend it with family I suppose, either drywalling the basement, rebuilding that damn snowblower engine, or re-finishing my snowboard. Sweet, no?

I didn't ask for anything from anyone (asked them not to get me anything, actually, I lack the money to buy them gifts, so I expect nothing in return), but that's fine by me. I do look forward to the better-than-usual dinner, though.

My plans are to hang out with the family and nieghbors tonight, then spend tomorrow with the family. I feel pretty guilty this year, because I'm unemployed and out of cash, and therefore unable to get gifts for anyone. :(

I've worked my hairy little ass off been getting presents for people and food since late summer, so things should be okay.
Tomorrow is going to be a cunt of a day, working 10-4 supposedly, and supposedly the last table booking is in at 1pm, which deffinately means the cunts will waddle in at 2pm, fuck about like sheep not remembering who ordered what, and sweets and coffee will probably go out to the fuckers some time after 5pm. I hate customers. Hate them.

Then I'm going to come home,tidy up frantically and make sure things look nice, fuss my boyfriend and start cooking ze foodstuffs. And then my mum and her boyfriend will probably turn up, and more likely than not they'll have brought some random old lady.

So... if i go to sleep in three hours after I've finished delivering the last of my presents I may get possibly 5 hours sleep before I have to get up and prepare for work. Which means that my next estimated 'Flomp time' will probably be at around 9pm tomorrow evening.

And whilst I never really put much truck into the whole materialistic Christmas rigmarole, yet was willing to grin and bear it for the sake of tradition, I find out today that a family member died (rubbish day to choose, but controversy was always his style :D). Puts a glass ceiling on the celebrations for the day...but no matter!

Nonetheless, for those of you that take tomorrow seriously, all the best, and I hope a fantastic time is had by all!

Celebrated with the fam tonight (on the eve) drank abit, smoked a joint with my cousins, then came home and ate some xanax and vicodin. Best christmas eve ever. Too bad all my gf's family was still up or i could have gotten laid too :(
