I have a form of hereditary muscular dystrophy called Charcot-Marie Tooth. My nerves axons are deficient in the myelin sheath, and as a result, tendons and ligaments have atrophied and tightened in my feet, and because of my metabolism, it's nearly impossible to gain any weight; so I can't bulk up. I have splints, horribly painful and disfigured feet, and am about 6-1, which makes for a very akward balance. It sucks, but only recently has it really been affecting me to a point where I can barely walk. On good days, I can't really walk more than a few blocks without sore ankles and knees.
