Default Is a bit of chub really -that- bad?

I dont mean fat that comes rolling out of her pants, or fat enough to make for a chubby face.

I mean the fat that, unless you're looking, you cant really see under clothes. The fat that when she's naked, her thighs, butt and tummy have a jiggle to them, not a full out wave.

The general reaction of guys on the internet, is that fat turns a woman from a woman into a swamp thing style monster. Yet I've heard from many guys that women get too obessed about fat, that they dont mind it. I've seen quite a few guys actually "with" (dating, ect) fat girls, and even more with chubby girls.

So, really, does it make that big a difference to you, personally? To the ladies as well, though I havent heard nearly as much about the topic from them, what is your opinion of people with a bit of jiggle?

For me personally? I hate fat. Hate it!

But on chubby girls it can look okay, as long as they dont try to dress like Brittney spears did when she was skinny, that's kind of gross.

Oh, and Muffin Tops? Please, please dont. DO NOT WANT!

Same.

I actually don't like certain skinny girls. I prefer something that I'm not gonna be afraid to snap.

I realise it's just a hyperbole, but it's just so stupid -- and so many guys say it...

Just because guys here say that they prefer a little but of chub on a girl, doesn't justify you being fat. Remember that a little bit of chub to a guy and a little bit of chub to a girl are different things. You said you were 5'8" and 150? That's not too bad I guess.

Men like meat.....dogs like bones.

More cushion for pushin.

More bounce to the ounce.

As for the "snap" comment.....its because it is absolutely TRUE! I've been with skinnier women before, some that you would classify as "super model" thin. They can't take a good humping like a girl 10 or 15 pounds heavier can....its that simple. Whether they have complained about being tired, sore, done.....whatever. So yeah.....if I see a very skinny girl and start thinking sexual things about her, usually those thoughts end rather quickly. Because I know damn well they can't handle me, and they do NOT have the sexual endurance like their heftier peers do. Yes, I have a fear of "breaking" her.

I would think a bit of chub to a girl is less than a bit of chub to a guy. As in, being 10 pounds overweight is more noticable and, for lack of better word, alarming to a girl than it is to a guy looking at that girl.

But, I suppose its all about how self consious the girl is. I know a girl who has to be at least 230 lbs and is maybe 5'2", and she thinks she's the sexiest thing in ages. She's also within the top 3 most obnoxious people I know.

I don't mind a little bit, I do prefer fit (as in physically fit, none of that horrible English slang) girls, but a lot of times a bit of fat looks nice/ok. No guts (uhg...), No double-chins, and no overly jiggly asses (if more fat than muscle, than that's bad), though, thanks.

Amen to that one!

I've never dated a girl who didn't have some gorgeous curves to her body and I've never looked back. A girl who can take a good pounding will ABSOLUTELY need some protection for their skeletal system. That's one of the main purposes of fat, to cushion the bones against impact. Not to mention how sexy it is when I actually have something to grab onto while we're going at it. I can't imagine grabbing a girl and feeling just skin and bone all over. That isn't feminine. Females are supposed to have more body fat by nature and a woman with curves is my idea of a real woman.

But being overweight (medically, not socially) is no good and that for me is about where it becomes unappealing and also unhealthy.

In conclusion,
Coke bottle/Hourglass! :)

Meh it depends on the way that 150 lbs is distributed. My last gf was 5'8 and 150 pounds but it was mostly muscle, she had a fantastic toned body and I couldn't believe it when I looked at the scale while she was standing on it and it read 150.

Well it's okay if you'd rather feel as if you're fucking a 10 year old boy. :)

I don't mean grabbing her gut or anything disgusting like that, I don't date women with guts. I mean a little extra on her thighs or a nice round bottom, mmm. Woman are supposed to be soft in my mind. Not hard from muscles nor bone. I'm the hard one. I've got the sharp angles, she has the soft ones. It separates our sexes and gives sex it's wonderful contrast.

I'll agree there, but I'd rather not have noticable 'handles' on my girls. +1 to some thighs and a round bottom, though.

Damn, if britteny spears is fat there, I give up.

Not that I'm much bigger than that, in fact I'd say me and her are pretty close to the same size, but with different distribution. She has a pretty blockish body and thinner legs than me, I have a thinner waist and bigger hips.

Thanks for the responses though, it is nice to know that not everyone is hell bent on a swimsuit model..

No, I am not fucking prejudice when it comes to that shit. The girl can't be obese, but I don't care if she is thick. Most of the morons on here commenting about wanting the skinniest bitch are 15. Have never been with a woman, and probably have never really seen what a real woman looks like due to the constant watching of porn.

fat/chubby girls are easy. They will take anything going.
alcohol + no lights = win

This is not true, I actually met a gorgeous set of twins that were thick, but beautiful. Blonds that used to come up where I worked a lot. So you're wrong. They were not easy, trust me, they had guys hitting on them constantly.

For me personally? I hate fat. Hate it!

But on chubby girls it can look okay, as long as they dont try to dress like Brittney spears did when she was skinny, that's kind of gross.

It's a fucking figure of speech bitch to describe me not wanting to sleep with girls mimicking 13 year old boys!

More fat than muscle is not bad on a woman. Are you joking? Can you tell me how much muscle your chest has in comparison to your boob size?

A girl's ass is supposed to be nice, not cut-up at 10% BF and veins shooting out of her anus.

I don't know. There's a definite line. With one girl I was with for a while, she was fine at the start of our relationship, a bit of fat, nothing unpleasant, just, cuddly. Then a few months later I nearly threw up when I saw her naked, it wasn't that she'd gained a heap of wait, she just crossed the line I guess.

Personally, my boobs are all muscle (genetics and I used to work out a lot, it's roughly a large 'handful' each, I'm rather proud of them), last I checked most men don't retain fat there. You may be an exception, though.

Note that I was talking about girls' asses there, not overall. If I happen to be grabbing my girl's ass then I personally find it appealing to be grasping a bag of jello, thanks.

You're chest is not all muscle if you're a woman, and obviously if you aren't fat as a man you don't have tits either. Doesn't really matter because a bitch with a girl's "sized" hand of tits really isn't my thing. So enjoy never sitting on this dick whore, but that lightpost over there might suit you just fine.

Actually, now that I think about it, didn't people used to say that Nicole Richie was Paris Hilton's fat friend? She doesn't look fat to me...
http://img.bollywoodsargam.com/albumsbolly/Nicole_Richie/Nicole_Richie_0918_37_30.jpg

So what's your opinion?Nicole used to be fatter. When she first got out of rehab, she was a lot heavier than she is now. Plus, put anyone next to Paris and they'll look fat.

Britney Spears is not fat. Nicole Richie was never fat. How much of a fucking sheep do you have to be to refer to a normal woman as fat just because she doesn't hit the gym every day?

Where the fuck are we? I thought this was totse where we're against society and would sooner blow up a TV set than watch it for long enough to find out who the fuck Nicole Richie is. You stupid motherfuckers are just buying into everything the media tells you to the point that you've completely lost touch with reality. Women aren't twigs. In addition to breasts and asses, they do have guts. Not everyone has a perfect waist and that doesn't mean that they're fat or unhealthy. People are built differently and they shouldn't have to exercise constantly or diet all the time to be worthy of your fucking them. And the chicks who do devote all their time to trying to stay "in shape" are usually fucking shallow and maybe that's why you all have so many issues with them. They're stupid cunts who can't function properly and you've chosen them because you can't deal with normal women who eat and behave in a healthy manner.

I can feel the hate even over here. It's nice.

I don't think britney or nicole are even close to fat, at all. Anyone who does, hasn't been away from their computer or outside, ever.

That said, everyone will hold their own opinion, and generally, fatter girls are less attractive to guys.

Cut the 'you only want twigs' feminazi crap after this, it's not what I'm saying or what I mean, but at least have some semblance of caring about yourself, or seeming to. Someone who doesn't care whether they appear healthy or don't seem to care about themselves will get less attention from the opposite sex, and this includes girls looking at guys. Not neccesarily I understand there's different body types, but people generally grow into those types well enough and overshooting that is noticable. A lot of girls look good with some fat, but there is a line where it looks unhealthy and unappealing. I'm not going to bother saying where I place the line myself, but if anything, it's further from the 'ZOMG TWIG' idea than you'd think. Everyone will grow into their body types but it's generally easy to see when someone is overweight or unhealthy, and at what point that becomes unattractive to a guy varies, but suffice to say, it exists.

I don't see how you go the idea that exercising or eating healthy are bad things or things that people shouldn't do. Last I checked, being healthy, for whatever body type you happen to have, is better than not being healthy. Yes, genetics play a massive role but everyone has control of their habits and diets past that. Don't go nuts, but for whatever body type a girl has, at least look like you care about yourself with it.

All that said, curvy (some chub) girls ftw, fat girls (rolls) FTL.

Ok....

I find these attractive:

I agree. The fact that western culture is so laden with an adonis complex sucks. but that doesn't mean you can't be healthy. I'm not saying girl's should be super-model thin, and i'm not saying guys should all have washboard abs, but OC's got it right: eat decently healthy and ride a bike, go for walks instead of driving everywhere, go the gym a couple times a week or play a sport or something.

Fuck all this "healthy" nonsense. Do you really care if a girl is healthy or not? I'm thin and I'm not healthy and I guarantee you no guy in this thread would pass me up for a chubby healthy chick. I don't know who taught you people about what it is to be healthy, but it doesn't all hinge on how much body fat you have.

Other than that, I'm not arguing more because I agree with where you draw the line with these ladies. I think the ones you said you're not attracted to are certainly less attractive to me because that's how my preferences lean. However, I doubt they're actually unhealthy and I would never criticize them for their weight or threaten to vomit at the sight of them naked. I guess the problem I have with people in this thread is less that they're not attracted to thicker ladies as much as that they are making value judgments about people who have more chub. I don't exercise or eat right. Ever. That's my decision and it doesn't make me a bad person. It just means I hate exercise.

Fair enough, and no one will force you to. In your case, it works out fine.

And personally yes, I do care if a girl is healthy, it's something that's important to me, but by no means critical.

Thinner body types are preferred, of course, though with most (you seem to the in the naturally skinny type, and you are pretty from what I've seen) do show excess fat easily.

I wouldn't vomit at any I posted and said I didn't like, I just don't find them physically attractive and wouldn't pursue.

Larger/thicker body types are discriminated, but there's nothing I can do to change public/media opinion, nor to really sway my own opinion overnight.

YES. There's nothing grosser than a lazy girl who eats nothing but junkfood. I don't care if a girl is chubby if she takes care of herself it's all good.

I love how she says "I guarantee". Face facts skank, if you're not living a healthy lifestyle, and there's a girl with a little chub who takes care of herself and is generally cursed with bad genes, but is fixing herself up, who do you think I'm going to respect more? The lazyass who won't get up off the couch and fix a healthy snack or the woman who has obviously maternal tendencies, and isn't lazy enough to cook and clean?

Damn straight.

Yeah I remember seeing a pic of you once and...you're big. Maybe not fat spilling over, but big-boned. I'm not hitting that. And wouldn't advise anyone else too either.

Big girls always use that media bullshit to prop up their flagging self-esteem. Advertisors only have one goal: to make money. They're not scheming in the boardrooms trying to cruelly subvert fat girl's roles in society and distort everyone's image of what a 10 spot should look like because they want to make fat girls feel bad about themselves. You think they just conjured up out of thin air some perfect image of what they think a bitch should look like? They have sexual instincts just like the rest of us. Just look around. 10% of bitches are hot. Hot, dime spot bitches. The girls every guy competes for, and are a rare fuckin breed. That's just how it is. Your genetics are weaker. Just accept it. Learn to sing or something.

I mean look, the guys making the advertising decisions have penises. They know what's hot. And Supermodel bodies get niggas' balls swelling. Beyonce's body type too..thin waist, big hips...gets my balls swelling. And a round, toned ass like Britney Spears used to have....

Where was I...Oh yes. The bombshells you see plastered all over advertisements are there because they're just fucking hot. Sorry you're big and moose-like, but we all have are shortcomings.

And I'm not talking about stick-thin bitches heah. No one really goes nuts over Paris Hilton. I'm referring to generally recognised fines in our culture: the cindy crawfords, Britney SPears. They have toned, curvy bodies. That's all these guys up in here are sayin. We can't help that our animal instincts are attracted to the finest displays of genetic health. So lay off moose.

Thats true, to a degree, but the media's prefered body type changes through the years, so I dont think you can say thats the only reason. Twiggy wouldnt be popular now, but she was in her time when curves, toned or not, were a bad thing. What about the 50's, when breasts at all were undesirable, much less the head-sized balloons that many models have implanted today?

It always seems to be about whats hard to acheive, and theres always a certain level of masculinity to the women.

No breasts and no curves made women look like little boys.

As several people have said, women are meant to have some body fat, which is probably why we store it in a way that arguably actually benefits our health. Some studies have shown that fat in the thighs actually boosts resistance to certain diseases (I'm not sure of the studies or the diseases offhand, you'll have to google if curious).

Yet still, the models of today are very muscular and have very little body fat, like men.

You've gotta be thinking of someone else, or else you're some kind of corpse-loving lunatic.

Because he hasn't done anything ban worthy? He has a constitutional right to be a jerk...and he does it so well.

Trolling isn't a bannable offence.

If he annoys you that much then put him on ignore. or don't answer his posts.

Fair enough.

Though I would like to put in a 'elimination of undesirable posters' sort of law in, as he rarely contributes besides being angry at the world in every post, but I don't make those decisions, though that 'ignore' button is always there.

my girlfriend has a bit of extra weight on her. she has stretch marks from that, but it's nothing revolting. my last girlfriend, though she was smaller, had rather revolting stretch marks. I suppose my level of attraction has a small amount to do with that. overall, I don't really care. The past few girls i've chased weren't the smallest ones ever. I see no problem with that.

I'd go for average-built women. Average is fine, chubby is fine, anything above that will start to get unattractive.

Too skinny is also unattractive to me.

Average built women look the best in my opinion, hands down.

You know, the hip to waist ratio thing. I have big boobs and hips and a small waist and alot of men like that. But to each his own, right?

Nah, truthfully Texans are just brought up to have ridiculous, fucking insane amounts of pride. Other states don't raise their kids this way because they know that it doesn't make much sense to have pride in what state you're from, but Texans are sort of dumb, so they don't realize that. The result is Texas State History every single year in elementary school, and probably past that as well. We learn songs, read books about regional flowers, and even have a pledge of allegiance. Consequently, I am a proud Texan even though I don't have any solid reason to be. But hey, it's good to be proud of something.

Lol, I keep forgetting you are in Texas as well. Texas is a great state, and although I could point out tons of flaws in Texas you aren't going to find another place where people are more proud of their state.

Don't tell me you're from Texas, too?? Texas fucking sucks and I thank God that I'm not from here.

The only state that can fly it's flag at the same height as the United States flag. No one else can do that, no other state. That makes us unique, and is why you have people hating on us and trying to say we are "retards". They can't understand our view point, they are close minded individuals who's hearts are filled with envy.

Don't agree with their assessment, tell them to fuck off. I'm not an idiot, and everyone here knows it. Yet they will sit here for days trying to convince themselves that I have an inadequacy.Don't buy into them trying to pull the same wool over Texas.

Yea, from what I've heard, Austin is pretty liberal and un-Texas like, so I guess it's not too bad. But if I see one more person with a tattoo of fucking Texas, I'm going to go crazy.

Austin is not "un-Texas" it's where the fucking capital is, god damn little girl at least learn about the greatest state before talking shit.

It's obvious you have no understanding of the culture here in Texas or in Austin. So don't try to speak on such matters because you are only further exposing your ignorance.

No offense or anything, but I think having pride in a place just because you live there, or you were born there is pretty stupid. There are pros and cons of living everywhere. I guess a little bit is okay but it gets out of hand really easily...

Is it also stupid to take pride in your name? Your color? Your race? Your achievements? You are a moron and probably a pretty weak individual to not think that having pride in where you come from is important.

What do you mean by curves, though? I mean, people say that Beyonce has curves, but she looks pretty skinny to me.
http://cosmetic-makeovers.com/files/posts/beyonce_liposuction.jpghttp://www.hogonsports.com/beyonce2.jpg

Then people said that Britney Spears was fat at the VMA's, but she actually look healthy, compared to most celebrities.
http://www.cinemacomrapadura.com.br/noticias/img/8316-2007-09-10-15:12:19_1.jpg

Actually, now that I think about it, didn't people used to say that Nicole Richie was Paris Hilton's fat friend? She doesn't look fat to me...
http://img.bollywoodsargam.com/albumsbolly/Nicole_Richie/Nicole_Richie_0918_37_30.jpg

So what's your opinion?

I was about the size of Britney before I had my kids and no one ever thought I was fat.. She doesn't look fat.. She looks.. well.. healthy.. I think it's more that she was trying to fit into something that hugged her the wrong way at the VMA's..

Yes. Yes. Yes. No.

Because all those things are things you can't choose, except name I suppose if you want to change it, but that's a different matter.

I'm not saying having pride is a bad thing at all, and I'm not going to sink to the level of petty insults to try to further my point, because that's irrelevant.

Achievements you should be proud of because it's something you've actually done that is worth doing.

Surely you can see how this is not the same as race, colour or name? I'm not saying you should be ashamed of any of that, but I think being proud of it just makes you a more arrogant and obnoxious person.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Lol, yes it's arrogant and obnoxious to identify yourself with a family name, the same race, or with the place you were born. Yeah, none of that holds any importance......keep telling yourself that.

If you still wanna chill next time I'm near Western I'll bring some.

Lol.

I'm content with my curves, and have no problems finding males that are more then happy with them also.

As far as males and chub goes - I like my guys to look like men, thick arms/shoulders/chest are always nice :)

Sounds like a plan. I'm outta here for almost 3 weeks as of mid-month though, x-mas break.

I simply find a difference between a girl being curvy, and a girl being just fat. Curvy can look good, while fat usually doesn't. Shapely vs. shapeless.

I think most people have the idea of chub=curvy. I'm curvy as hell, but only because I have broad ribs and hips, and hardly any meat on my waist. (I'm working on gaining some weight, though.) And most of the fat I do have on my body is somewhere around my thighs & ass.

Just my two sense.

2 bedroom apartment with a roommate, 2 couches but they're nothing fancy.

As far as shapes with some chub:

Coke bottle = good

Jar of Crisco (round) = bad

That said, I do find really, really skinny chicks unattractive, there's no curves or shapes to them (generally a lack of any boobs or ass), so meh.

Cool.

I go crazy for really skinny chicks with ass and tits though. You can pick them up with one hand and it's such a big sense of power.

semi fat women gross me out

all others are fair game

i would date a girl that is too skinny before dating a fat chick

infact i would never date a fat chick or bang one for that matter.

i could quadruple my bang tally if i nailed fat chicks but it isnt worth it in ANY way.

You'd be surprised. It's always a good idea to give the Honda Civic a test drive before you start trying to drive a Lamborghini.

Seriously though, I'm not saying fuck a fatty, but fuck someone with a bit of meat on them and see how it goes.

So just let the threads take their natural course, they eventually get back on topic. So pipe down amigo!

In my opinion I think girls should be complete sticks. I mean till their ribs and hipbones and chest bones are visible, but not too visible. But thats Just me, and I have fucked up body opinions soo...

But I really do think that 'Healthy weight' is overweight. Im supposed to be 125 for my height, I would seriously shoot myself if I weighed that much...

Though in fairness, I'm not a woman.

Ah well, I personally dont think I look too bad at my weight, I seem to have a curvy-but-slim body type.

But.. not my choice, my boyfriend constantly tells me to lose weight... to the gym I go!

I'd like to think that, he calls me a fatass sometimes and I think he's joking then... but whenever I go to the gym (which I usually enjoy doing anyways) and, say.. workout for 50 mins, I'll text him and tell him what I've done, proudly. He'll tell me to keep going, I need to work on my tummy.

I asked him once if he thought I was sexy, at all.. and he wouldnt reply :'(

What about me makes you not respect people? If you're gonna be like that, have no respect for me and dont put it against anyone else..

I prefer black, or latino guys... so yes, I probably am who you were thinking of, I dont see too many other girls saying that on totse.

You're just a typical immature moron that stays with people that treat you like shit? However, the good thing is I no longer really care. Having a haughty contempt for people like you takes no energy, and when I see and/or talk to people like you it is as a parent talks to a child trying to play a subtle personal game that the parent can see right through.

Yeah, you are who I thought you are. Ha.

Thats alot to say about me based off what was posted in this thread, or even anything I've posted on totse. I'm not really sure where you get off calling me immature and comparing me to a child, though if you wish to consider me a moron for not walking away from the man I've grown to love, so be it, and good luck to you in your own relationships.

Of course he sounds like a bad guy, I dont get on totse asking people's opinions of good things that happen. It's irritating to be asked for a solution when there never was a problem.

Anyways, this thread wasnt about that. What sparked me to ask was reading totse's threads filled with people making out like have a body fat % over 10 was akin to leprosy.
