Ever since my senior year began, I've been talking to this one girl (let's call her Amy) in some of my classes especially Latin class (that's where we talk the most). Anyway, we got to know each other. Now I have feelings for her.

But here come the twists:
- she broke up with a friend of mine...not too close a friend of mine though about a month ago
- I am deaf so my means of communication is through writing, textin, etc
- I am under house arrest (long story) so I wouldn't be able to take her out to a date without having my parents accompany me
- My Latin teacher actually knows that I'm interested in her and I haven't even told him.

Also, I have noticed some visual cues that she is (possibly) interested in me. She always smiles at me. She always talks to me. Etc.

Last, I never had a girlfriend. If it makes any difference, I'm 17, she's 18.

So here come my questions.
1) What should I tell her? Outright? In what means?

2) How would I continue the relationship taking in mind my house arrest?

3) Am I right in thinking that she likes me back?

The deaf friends I had in school always went for deaf girls and not the hearing folk so I got no experience there.

It's not a fucking rocket science, ask her out to your house and hang out in your basement or something(lame if your mom have to sits by you for the whole time). Try to nvite her over to watch a movie, that ALWAYS work. I recommend Knocked Up.

It sucks to have problems with easy communication in a relationship. However you don't have to worry about small talk and tonality and stuff.

I used to date a super Asian chick who could barely speeeek inglitch but in someways it was really awesome. Nether of us could really understand each other so it was almost purely physical. When I was asking her out (I used a cold approach) i was suprized by her problems with language but I got used to it quickly. Quick litle bit of advice dont ask he rout until your sure. It doesn't sound like she will think it is a date if you ask her out now. You sound like friends.

-Read her body language. Are her feet facing you? Does she look open twords you? does she smile and stare into your eyes for more than a second? does she cock her head when you write her something.

Once you feel you are ready by reading her body language this is how I would ask her out. I would pass her like a tiny torn square that says "Wana come to my place tonight?
(Then have 2 boxes for yes and no just like in elemntary school. This makes it seem like you are asking her out.)"

If she makes a mark and hands the note back to you upside down with a smile or trying to hold a smile she said yes. This means that you don't even read the note just ball it up and practice your free throw. then just look at her and smile maybe give her a wink or something. if she gets pissed off and starts writing another note she maybe said no just read that one then.

If she doesn't smile or writes something on the note just read it. Write her a new one with a look on you face like "what you talking 'bout woman". This one should be like "I meant to study for Latin" or "You just looked like you wanted to. I didn't say you could." or "I meant your parents are having a fight and they called my mom and told her that you are staying at my house tonight."

Well while I tend to agree with you, I think it's just that we think differently and are prejudiced towards our own lines of thinking.

I enjoy the fact that I think logically and linearly, but I bet women enjoy that they think emotionally and view us as robotic.

I kind of wish I could 1.) completely become a woman for a little less than a month (to avoid the period :)) to see how they think, or 2.) be one of those guys that hangs around chicks 24/7 so that I could learn that way.

Unfortunately, for #2 to work I would have to be flaming gay, so that's out of the question. Also, #1 is physically impossible, so I guess I'll have to be hopelessly clueless like everyone else.

Well, it isn't difficult to understand how women think. Emotions effect almost all of their decisions. Just think at how easily your emotions change throughout the day of being in traffic, being grumpy, a promotion comes then happy. A women experiences these things and actually makes decisions based on them. Which is why they claim no responsibility most of the time when they cheat.
