Default Dumbest question ever

Ok, so if someone asked you out, knowing that your only transportation is your feet, and it's raining outside, do you look at that person like they're retarded, or do you go out in the rain? It rains all the time where I live and I want to ask this kid to lunch or coffee or something, but I would feel lame asking him somewhere on campus, so I want to walk a couple blocks to where there are more food options. But what if he tells me that it's raining and slams the door in my face?! Also, is it weird to go to someone's place of residence to ask them out? What time is it safe to assume a college kid and his roommate are awake on a Sunday, assuming neither of them party?

Why don't you just call him?

Bring an umbrella or something. The worst thing that happens is him inviting you inside.

If you're a girl, you can get away with a lot.

That's assuming you're a girl.

He only has a phone in his dorm. I hate calling guys when there's a chance that a different male voice could answer. I'm terrible with phones. Also, I don't have his number.

Walk to his room and ask him in person.

Topless.

He won't refuse.

On a side note, this thread is useless without pics.

Lets analyse this ,shall we?

College student (ie geek who has only ever had sex with own hand) gets asked out by a real LIVE girl who is not only pretty and intelligent enough to post on totse but is making life real easy for him and asking him on a date. Thus negating him posting here and asking 'How do I ask her out?"

Girl, He's male = he'd crawl through broken glass for the chance of some cunny or to go out with you! A little rain is NOT going to stop him.

Rain is hot. I love going out in it :) Just go up and ask him. Also, try about 6-7pm, most kids are awake (just...) and yea, good luck.

So...do you get hit on a lot a schoolzors? Do you generally just think, "Well...you just wasted two minutes of my time & yours."? Is it just idiots making idiot moves or what?

Why are youse always coming here asking about how to make the first Jill move on Jack? :p

Of course...don't ask me about inter-gender relations? When there are only two people: her & me within twenty feet. I still want to turn around & see who she's really talking to!

There isn't someone else you could visit at his dorm for some facile reason & just happen to drop by his room to say hi... Hmmm...what is your face-saving plan if he's clueless or having buttthexxth with his roomie?

I hate to picture you wandering down the hall, all forlorn into the rain. Jilted by some jerk.

Well, luckily we live in the same building. He's a floor above me. So he knows that I'm not going too far out of my way to see him. Still, there are stairs involved.

OK, Jack is right. I'm pretty and smart and interesting. If he doesn't think so, fuck him. The other problem here is that he's friends with a kid who vocally hates me. I see both of them every day for the next week and then never again. Maybe I should wait so that he doesn't tell his friend that he shot me down. If he did, the friend would definitely say something to me in front of a whole bunch of people. ...now I'm getting scared.

Thats when you smile, walk up to him and kick him in the balls.

Aww...poor rain-drenched snookums. I've got to go put more water in my humidifier as it's -7*F :p Would like to sit on my lap & te...

Errr...it's kind of like dating at the office isn't it? I hear that that is becoming more acceptable (we're all so mature & sophisticated now) & cool. Yet? I can't help but wonder...what happens when things don't work out & you still have to see each other?

>>>Yeah...he's a guy. Maybe he wants...ewes!

Rain is rain. If he'd turn you down just because he's scared of getting a little bit wet.. well..why would you want to hang out with such a pussy?

Ugh. So I went to the guy's room and asked him to lunch. He acted like it was a big imposition, but agreed. We went to this place he was planning on going to anyway, which was quite a walk. I got cold and tried to hold onto his arm, but he didn't seem particularly receptive. I don't think he likes me very much and I don't think he took the lunch as anything other than just friendly. :(

I'm not sure...but I believe that it rains more on GeePee than you have ever seen? I mean: it's going to rain on both of you this week, but a lot more on her I think. No use complaning in Rain Country though.

Just try to make sure that you don't smell like a wet dog when yer soaked! :p

>>>Awww...don't youse feel the magic with anyone? Everybody is so busy & distracted that it is lonelyonlies for so many I guess. Could you just do what so many do & go randomly & widely slutty? That just skips over the awkward silences. Like this...

Soooo...if you flashed a girl that you were hot for, but who didn't much care for you? EEK!

How do you think that would work for you?

I have several different fantasies how that would turn out, and I refuse to listen to logic.

Or perhaps he was just incredibly nervous and wasn't sure what you meant by holding his arm?

Man, if some girl asked me out and it was raining, I'd all give them one of my women slaying wry smiles and be like "ok" and it would be all wet and spontaneous and awesome.

Sucks it didn't work out for you glitter. You live and learn.
