I don't shave, but use a pair of those toenail scissors to get a really close trim.

I find shaving causes too much irritation and too many problems associated with it. It is much better to trim using a small pair of scissors and a comb in my opinion.

Seriously, keeping it very very close without shaving is much better, especially if you're a guy with hairy legs like me.

If you're wax is by far the best option. If you're a guy, don't shave. I personally think it's kinda weird when a guy shaves anything other then his face. Keeping it trimmed is nice though. Just as long as there arn't bugs/small children living in there it doesn't really matter though.

I dunno how you all can be so retarded that you cannot shave your pubes without mutilating yourselves.

I have been shaving since year 9 (I've now finished school) and I have never had a problem except I once nicked my sack and it stung for a few seconds.

Use a disposable razor. Currently I am using bic tripple blade ones that are orange and they work a charm. Use a good foam too. I use Gilette shaving foam that comes in a can. use lots of it, and do it in the shower rinsing the razor often.

Always use a good, clean, sharp and new as possible razor.

Always go with the grain. Never against it.

As most have mentioned, trim down as much as necessary with scissors.

You can shave it all off, you can wax it all off, but I have yet to find a women who isn't either indifferent to the look of it or very unnerved by the fact that you look like a 6 yr old with a man's junk, or... well, let's just assume the best for you.

if you do decide to go with a razor, dont shave against the grain (the opposite way the hair grows) shave with it. It may be a bit more annoying to do but it wont be as bad later on.

Shave with the grain. After the first few times, it won't itch anymore. Just do it on a regular basis (takes 30 fucking seconds to do a quick pass every now and then).

Just use soap/shaving cream so you don't nick yourself, and you're fine.

Why is everyone saying no to shaving?

Yes, you get red bumps. That is normal the first time. It will go away after two or three times. Yes, it itches if you let the hair grow back too long. When it itches, it's time to shave again.

Advise: Just don't use a razor on your balls. Just the upper pubes.
Edit and advise # 2: Don't forget water, sharp (not dull!) razor, and shaving cream. If shaving cream is not readily available, use bar soap, and lather it up. Nice alternative.

Shaving your pubes is just like shaving anything else. When I still had both arms available, I'd shave my entire pubic region and my ass/asshole.

The first few times it's going to be irritating, but after a week of doing it daily that goes away.

In my opinion, everyone in this thread that says never to shave didn't do it the right way, or gave up before their skin got used to it. I love the feeling of my shaved balls, and it honestly makes me feel sexy.

And from the perspective of playing with other men.. I'd really rather have a shaved pubic/ass area. So there's one opinion of the other side telling you that smooth = sexy.

Don't go against the grain, at least until your skin gets used to being shaved.
