So here's the scenario: You spend most of your time alone, and usually don't have a problem with it, expect that it'd be nice to have some company with an attractive girl once in a while. Around Christmas times, you tend to feel extra lonely, so you promise you yourself that you have to find someone before Christmas starts, nothing too serious, just someone to lighten to loneliness a bit. Christmas approaches at great speed and you're starting to think that it's not so likely to happen after all, but you know that forgetting the promise is like giving up and Christmas is bound to be a disappointment after that, so the only two options are to find someone or to simply have a miserable Christmas.

So one day you're having a coffee and reading up on an interesting book on biochemistry or some shit, when you suddenly see a cute girl sit down with a friend on a table behind you.
