To be sixteen again...oh boy!
I'm sitting at my office desk now, drinking a few beers and listening to some old "time of the season". I'm only 20, but this moment just reminds me of how it was to experience love for the first time. It didn't matter what car I drove or the clothes I wore, the moment of the first or even second love was amazing.
When I was fourteen, I fell in love. I found out later that it was a one sided love, but the moments with her were great. It wasn't routine like now. Being in a relationship for four years now with my second love doesn't really seem worth it.
I still love her and all, but I feel as if I've been married for 10 years. Our families hate each other, and each other's family hates us. The exitement of a barely touched pussy and a barely used penis isn't there, for one. Second, our day is so ordinary and routine.
Work, sex, sleep. How can one feel the anticipation of risking it all and making the 1st,2nd, 12th time for sex? The first kiss? The first I love you?
I've heard relationships grow, but in my case, they grow worse. How would you feel that experience again? It's not purely sexual, I just miss the nervousness of not knowing how a girl will act when I lean in for a kiss, or the first sexual encounter.
Rant......

Re: To be sixteen again...oh boy!
You are only 20 and you've being with one girl for 4 years? that almost 1/4 of your life... without sounding like a dick, do some drugs, get some alcohol into you and go out.
Once you get over it, you'll be ready for another relationship.

Re: To be sixteen again...oh boy!
Oh how I wish I was 12 again. Wouldn't have to fuck around with this load of stupid schoolwork, no stupid responsibilities, relationships, none of that crap.
The good old days of watching cowboy movies and playing video games.

I know how you feel... Nothing feels 'special' anymore, it's like I'm just going through the motions because I feel like I'm supposed to. /emo

Yeah man. There's one year that is still burned in my memory, characterized by that sort of infatuation.

Life sucked as much when I was 16 as it does at 18, so no I don't wish I was younger.

That's so touching :o
I'm 16 now, and I've had these thoughts before. Wondering if it's really so great, to be with someone for so long... what do you do when the excitement, the sense of adventure fades? Does it fade?
I guess it does, in your case. Maybe you should try and spice things up a little. Or, you could just resign yourself to a life lacking anticipation. Or cross your fingers and hope it gets better.
But I'd just break it off and try again. You can't get the thrill of the hunt if all your meals are being served to you...

Re: To be sixteen again...oh boy!
The thrill you get with women dies after, about 8 months. A year if your lucky, i been with the same girl for 2 years now and the only time it's exciting is when shes willing to let me fuck her in the ass or doggy style.

The excitement of a first love... that's what I'd like in a girl.

I should've mentioned off and on for four years. Many nice and regrettable girls in between. None that I've loved though, except for my first.

Now why do I get the feeling I'm going to feel that way in two years..
Yeah I would rather be doing pretty much anything in the future, but not in the past, because even though my past rocked (read ages 10-14), I would still have to do this bullshit again.
