But now, I've seen him successfully crawl like an entire foot before falling over and trying again. He can now go from a sitting position, to forcing himself forward onto his hands and knees and actually moving a small distance before one of his arms give out and he falls again.

The pediatrician says that he's FAR past the average mark as far as development goes. When filling out those sheets that say, "Mark each question yes or no, and stop when you have reached 3 No's", he makes it to the end of the paper with only 2 no's. Y'know, it asks questions like.. "Can he focus his attention on someone waving at him?", "Can he follow his eyes/head to watch where a falling object has been dropped?" and "Can he sit up by himself for at least 15 seconds without falling over?"

I too, am quite proud. He's MY son, that much is clear. ^^

This new found skill by the kid could create a nightmare for a forensic investigator some time soon. Imagine if Zek dies of a heroine overdose tonight, with the needle stuck in his arm. Junior could now come crawling along, discover the body first, yank out the needle and drop it in some very inconspicuos place......like down a ventilation slot.

He DOES look a lot like his mom. Well, so far as skin tone, hair color and certain facial features. Both of our kids actually are a pretty good and interesting mix of both of us.

And it'd be awesome if he got her intelligence. ^^ But I see nothing wrong with mine, either..

Wha..? It's a joke, yo. Because in the first thread, she said, "My son..." So in this thread, I made it clear that he was my son as well. I dunno where you're getting this yoyo, we'd never ask our kids who they loved more, or get jealous if they seemed more attached to one of us over the other. Because we know they love both of us.

We're both quite aware that our kids are OUR (not mine or hers) kids. And.. not that it's really anyone else's business, but from my point of view our relationship has been doing awesome lately. We're spending a good amount of quality time together and being more open about sharing our feelings than we have in the past.

You can't (reasonably) make such assumptions based on one part of a post that was made in jest.

Parents sometimes have a tendency to do evil things. My mum,when she was very dissapointed in me when I was younger, would go to my dad and say "YOUR daughter, is a failiure". It's quite..damaging.
