So theres this chick I'm sort of in too. I am sort of friends with her, talk whenever we see each other but we don't hang out on a regular basis.

I call her up from time to time (mostly when I'm piss drunk or fucked up more than usual). She realizes when I call her I'm fucked up and I know she isn't really into that sort of thing so I usualy call back a day or two later appologizing over my stupid behavior.

Anyways, it seems that when I talk to her she sounds interested in me and then sometimes it doesn't. This goes for both when in person and over the phone. The problem is, I dunno if I'm just feeling full of myself, so it makes me self concious and not bother persuing it (which has probably stopped me from getting with other girls as well).

The last time I talked to her (monday night) I was positive she sounded interested in me and tried to get her to hang out sometime (she made some lame excuse that I'm not stupid enough to fall for). But I'm kind of unsure about my judgement on how much she liked me. I was piss drunk as usual when I call her and when I got off the phone (I could of still been on the phone though?) I asked my friend if he thought she sounded interested. He said yeah she does you should try and get a date or something with her, as the night went on and we both sobered up we both looked back and tried to remember how interested she really was.

Anyways, back on topic. How the fuck can I tell if this chick likes me? I can usualy tell by tone of voice and such but I never trust my own judgement on these things anymore.

Get the checklist of things to look for, if she does like 3 or more, you know your set. You didnt give any ideas why you think she is besides her voice tone plus u were messed up on top of that so that couldve gave you false judgement.

Start talking to her more when your sober then just ask her out somewhere and take it from there.

Fuck even the checklist. Ask her out. If she gives you a bullshitty flaky answer, tell her "Yes or No? Do you want to go out or just waste my time?"

She'll either say "Sorry, I'll behave" or she'll continue being a cunt in which case you can feel free to move on. Not worth it.

Depends what kind of girl she is.

She might be a fun-loving little minx that would be all suggestive for fun.

She might be slightly shy and trying to get you to ask her out, or work up the testicular mass to ask you out.

Or she might not be either.

I tend to test it out by giving an intense male courtship signal.

I stand up straight, put my hands in my jean pockets with my thumbs out and stand within the "intimate zone" (an invasion of personal space to anyone that doesn't like you or isn't attracted to you.) If she smiles, or plays with her hair, or gets nervous while grinning or looks seductive; proceed. If she frowns, backs away or anything negative; you're not in there, my son.

Somethings I noticed that could mean she likes me:

-I'll be out around town with friends and she'll see me and call me over. She usualy has a smile on but that could mean anything. Everytime I'm out she approaches me first.

-Last time I talked to her on the phone she said she saw me and called my name a few times but didn't hear her.

-I'll be sitting on the bus and instead of sitting with people who are better friends with her she'll sit next to me.

I've also noticed though, that when I call to see if she wants to hang out she pulls some shit excuse (Like getting your haircut at 10pm)

I asked if she wants to hang out sometime she said she can't because her parents don't know me. I said I'd be glad to meet her parents and she didn't seem to fond of that idea (maybe because I don't look like such a good kid or because she really doesn't want to hang out with me?).

I dunno, I'll give her a call in a couple days and see if she wants to chill or something.

I wouldn't bother asking her "to chill" at this point.

Next time you see her, tell her you have something you'd like to discuss. Take her aside and ask her to go out with you, boyfriend and girlfriend style.

It is a bit forward, but she can't make any excuses like "I have stuff to do" because this is just a state of being. If she likes you, she'll agree. If she doesn't, she'll give you a bullshit excuse.

If she even STARTS off with an "ummm, hmmm, maybe" just cut her off and say "don't worry about it, I see you're not read/not mature enough yet" give her a kiss on the cheek and walk away.

If anything, it'll make you look like hot shit.

Who says your waiting for her to tell that ur interested, you should be able to tell within 1-2 minutes of being around her to judge that. And if someone cant tell the difference between whats a signal and whats ordinary behavior then they need to rethink their shit. And its not really a check list either, just when your see/realize certain actions/behaviors that it should automatically pitch a red flag in your head.

as for trippy death, i thought so that u guys were younger, you cant really force a girl to roll anywhere and everywhere without hang ups when shes of that age, shes not really free. A girl will be still protected by her parents a bit unless she comes from a fucked up family, one that doesn't care period what she does.

Ha I'm not trying to force her to do anything. When I ask to see if she wants to chill it's usualy with people she knows and is friends with too, so it's not like I'm trying to get alone with her right away you know?

You can just do whatever with her, where does it say that you have to sign a contract before you do something with her(a date)? Meet up with her at the mall or at some public place and just hang with her and her friends, whats the harm in that? And does that broadcast or suggest that you want more from her then just to hang out with her outside of school? Its only a date if you call it or think of it as a date, all the times ive been out with girls i've never referred to them as a date, just times we hung out or did something together.
