Missed opportunities.
So, me and a friend were sharing a few beers tonight and we ran out of drinks. So I decided I would walk to the store and pick up another 12 pack. On the way there I noticed a really cute girl walking about 30 meters ahead of me on the opposite side of the road. I figured she would prolly end up being a "butterface" by the time I got closer to her. But as I approached her and got a good look at her I noticed she was just as gorgeous as I had perceived her to be from down the road lol.
So just as I was about to cross the road and introduced myself, some asshole rolled up in a white Mustang cobra, douchebag sports car and she got in and drove off. Now im sitting here with my shithead drunken friend thinking about her and how she got away from me. Wondering how different things would have been if I would have left the house 2 minutes earlier.
So basically Im just asking for you guys to share a time similar to mine, when you might have just missed that special someone by about 1-2 minutes lol. I dont even know if this thread makes sense. I hope so..Anyway cheers Totse..Peace.

Re: Missed opportunities.
dude she is obviously taken lose/lose situation...
going two minutes earlier would have gotten you rejected and possibly in a fight with the guy.
if you believe in god or whatever then he will put her in your life in the future when she is single...if it is meant to be.
in other words....you will never see her again.

Re: Missed opportunities.
Well, it wasn't a missed opportunity, more like dumb luck, but I spotted a girl that i was supposed to go out on a date with like two days earlier at the mall with the new boyfriend she got just a day before. Lol. Makes me laugh every time I think of it.

Re: Missed opportunities.
Not so much a missed opportunity...more like ignoring the door when opportunity was a knockin.
Well one night I was hangin out with some of my friends at a local hangout and I met this gorgeous girl who was 19. I was only 14 at the time. she was in college and was there with her college girlfriends all of whom were smokin but she was the best looking. We were dancin around and talkin and I grabbed one of her hands and she goes "oh thats fine but this one(she raised her other hand) is my masturbating hand". Instead of turning the convorsation in the direction I should have, I just laughed. Then she was tellin me how she liked me and all and I didn't do a dang thing about it. Then she probably figured I wasn't interested and left...
till this day I still do not know why I didnt jump on that poop.

Re: Missed opportunities.
Ok, drunk ass party, winding down, all the people with partners and people who didn't get really drunk have found their way home, it's in the ok time to seal the deal and get a fuck for tonight stage. A bunch of people get up to leave, Hot ass girl I've been talking with for about an hour makes a move from the chair across the room where she was sitting and sits on top of me while I'm sitting in a lazyboy. I was young and drunk and stupid, and I said 'WTF are you doing there is another lazy boy just there' and pointed to the chair right next to me. She went 'Oh' and sat in that chair, I immediately knew I had fucked up, but couldn't think of a way to fix it.
Woke up the next morning, she had left already, and I made a vow that I would never be that stupid again.

you are too nice for totse. im afraid im going to have to ask you to leave.
all my missed opportunities seem to have happened because of me already being taken. i still kick myself for having a girlfriend back in junior year of high school. that was pretty much the one year of my life i put some effort into myself looking good. i had a lot of girls wanting me, but i stayed with this one chick who i never even got any from because my dumb ass thought i was in love. ive laughed those memories off a million times over now, but it still kinda stings :)

Re: Missed opportunities.
Yeah mate...It's probably best you didn't get near her...You would have gotten shot down and her douchebag boyfriend would've probably kicked your arse. Wankers like him carry the tyre iron under the driver's seat!
