Default Does he know?

Right around the time I go home for breaks, I get like this because I start remembering all of the things that happened from highschool. I dated the emotionally abusive guy, but that's not what this is about. This is another guy that I dated over the summer. I went to prom with this guy, and I think the reason I felt so close to him is because he picked me up at a vulnerable time (right after the huge break up with guy number 1). We got really close, or so I thought, and then he went off to governors school over the summer. He came back on his break, and everything seemed the same as before. He told me everything I wanted to hear, and when he went back for the second half of the governors school, he told me he had something important to tell me, but he didn't want to tell me over the phone. Well, he stopped calling me as much, telling me he had to take a shower, or he as depressed, or (the best one) he was in a reading mood and just wanted to read.

Well, the day before he came back he called me and said, "Things aren't going to work out between us," and he wouldn't give me a reason why. I cried for god knows how long that night, just thinking about the possibilities. Overcourse, dumb oblivious me never thought of him cheating on me. I didn't find out the answer until a party for one of the clubs we are in together (Annual Staff). One of his friends, (who didn't know that I didn't know) shouted out, "You going to _____ now? Tell *insert name here* I said Hi! *wink*" I felt like a fool in front of everyone because I started crying after he left.

I feel defeated, and I have never felt like that before. Usually I was the one that broke up with people, or got out before something like that happened. But I know that I still have the upper hand. He was a coward, and couldn't tell me to my face. He was a liar, a fool and an asshole. But does he know that? Does he know that I still am on top? I just wish that he could see how much wrong he did, and how fucking selfish he is. I am in the right, I did nothing wrong. I haven't done anything to retaliate.

I love college so much right now. I was never in the "in crowd" in highschool, but now I feel as if I have so many friends and so many new opportunities. I am loving life right now, but every now and then he bugs me. So totse, does he know?

Does he know he's a piece of lying shit who doesent have the balls to face a female and tell her the truth?
Undoubtedly. And no doubt one day he'll mistread the wrong person and find a stiletto heel impaled in his balls.

To break up with someone is fine, if you dont feel for them there's not much else you can do. But to lie and cheat and be a pussy about it..

But if you're worried about him knowing you're hurt or not in control? He wont if you make sure to hide it.

What made it even worse is that he is in the in crowd in our highschool, because he played soccer, drank, and smoked pot every weekend to look cool. He didn't do it to do it, he did it so that he would be excepted. He portrays himself differently to everyone, so that no one will know the real him. But behind his shell, is the poplular emo kid. He rebels against his parents who aren't even holding tight reins, he puts the most morbid posts on his facebook, and he always has a mask on. So he's practically lying to everybody, yet no one sees it. He wasn't looked down apon for cheating on me because he was one of the "cool kids." He made me look like the fool (or so I think) and I still don't get any respect from the people in highschool. Granted, it shouldn't matter right now seeing as I am in college, but it bugs me how shallow people can be.

If he cared about you, then he hopes you're doing well in everything that you do.

He might not know it that you're doing well, but it doesn't matter. He wishes you well and hopes that you'll find success and happiness.

Just because someone acts like an asshole does not mean they wish you ill or think poorly of you.

The guy doesn't want you, get over it. He isn't an asshole for this, and girls do this shit to guys all the fucking time. You are not special or unique with the attitude you have right now.

Does he know he's a piece of lying shit who doesent have the balls to face a female and tell her the truth?

Lie and cheat? What the fuck are you talking about? They are not together, doesn't even seem like shit happened between them. Sounds like the ego of the OP got hurt because a guy dumped her fucking ass before she had the chance to.

What made it even worse is that he is in the in crowd in our highschool, because he played soccer, drank, and smoked pot every weekend to look cool. You're not only shallow, but a hypocrite.

There are a lot of assholes who like to keep a girl waiting as a backup while they try their luck with riskier endeavors, or just lots of random fucking... If he doesn't want to be with you, even to talk to you... then forget it, it's going nowhere.

OP, who cares? The best revenge is living well. Go out, live your life, be happy....keep on keepin on. Chances are if he is the sociopathic loser you just described, he'll still be that loser 10-15 years from now. Those had to be some of the LAMEST reasons in the history of humanity to why he not called, and I'm somewhat astounded your red flags weren't going off then. "I'm in the mood to read"?????? WTF?

You'll get the last laugh, don't worry. Either you'll bump into him somewhere in a couple of years, or hear about his life through the grapevine. And the only thing you'll be thinking then is....."what the HELL was I doing wasting my time with such a creep". Especially if he is in jail, bagging groceries, or attached to some bitchy cow with white trash kids. THEN you'll get your validation that you are seeking....but until that day comes just be yourself and most importantly be happy. You wasted enough time on this fool, why waste even 5 more minutes of emotion analyzing how much of a loser he really is?

Yeah, CarbonB I didn't say I liked him still, nor did I say that I want to be with him. I don't talk to him, I cut off all ties after the party. I care because that's what I do. I over analyse everything, and I seek closure. That wasn't the type of closure I am looking for, so that is why I still think about it. I have never done that to anyone before and I can't imagine how people can do that. I care about people too much.

He used me for sex partly, something I didn't say before. I took his virginity. I don't know if he was just looking for a "good girl" to take it so that it would be somewhat memorable, or if he really felt that way. He said it meant alot to him, however he is the type that doesn't like to vulnerability. After that happened, things went down hill because he was no longer "in control."

And yeah, the reading excuse looking back on it just was fucking stupid. Who reads Harry Potter 5, Gone with the Wind, and the Hobbit in one day? What a fucking asshole, THAT joke is on him.

Edit: Oh and Rykoshet, you will be happy. I got really drunk last night, so don't call me a prude if/when you post because I'm not.

That sounds like he's trying to grab 'classics' out of the air and claim he's read them, to sound smart or something.

Who the fuck could read Gone With the Wind in one fucking day? That book is a literal tomb. I've been reading it for years and it's.. it's eating my soul!

Breakups happen. Sometimes for the good, and in this case it seems like it was good.
And exactly, you're not in highschool now, where people are renouned for being quite superficial.

Easier said than done, but get over him. There are some good men out there.

You actually care what people in highschool thought of you?Maybe he didn't cheat on you your just assuming that, ever think of that? Just because he broke up with you then got with another girl after, which is assuming he was even getting with the girl you were talking about. "Hey say hi to ____for me *wink* is a BIIIIG assumption that he was HAVING SEX with her because a guy said "Say hi to ___ for me.

You sound like a shallow pathetic utterly useless waste of skin to me.

Go watch the news and gossip with your friends. Cunt stain.

It is sort of a big assumption to figure that he must have been fucking this girl while he was with you just because someone mentioned her casually. She might just be someone he has been hanging out with recently, since the breakup. Or maybe she's some fat chick and his friend was just giving him shit. You shouldn't jump to conclusions like that with very little evidence.

Quit talking shit about this guy without knowing for sure that he has done anything. If he did cheat on you, he's a dick. But if he didn't and you're just assuming shit, you're a bitch.

Ok first of all, I said they were dating so technically he is dating her and yes he is fucking her. Second of all, there are pictures posted on his facebook with him all over her and visa versa, during the duration of the summer that we were dating. Cuddling, tickling, laying by each other, etc. I don't know about you, "bitch," but that constitutes as cheating to me. Did I even personally attack you? No, I don't think I did. I was really excited when I saw you posted because I haven't seen you in a while on here, but now it just reminds me of how much of a bitch you are.

SO soro_one, this has nothing to do with making assumptions off of a wink. If anyone is ignorant, shallow, or a waste of useless air it's you. How about taking the time to read before you post?

Dude, read my post more carefully. I didn't say anything rude to you. In fact, I said that if your assumption was correct, he is in fact a dick. In your original post you didn't say anything about having other reasons to think he cheated on you. You just pointed to some really ambiguous evidence. I just didn't want you jumping to conclusions and making yourself look dumb.

So yeah, as he was clearly cheating on you, he was in the wrong. And to answer your question, yes he probably does know that he was wrong and you're right.

On the topic of caring too much what people from high school think, I'm totally with you on that. I just went home and saw some friends that I hadn't seen since school started and they were talking about people from high school that I really hated and it shocked me how much my feelings are still there. I still fucking hate some people that I will never in my life have to deal with again. But that's stupid, so I'm trying to get over it. It's hard, but that's what you have to do. They're not relevant anymore, so you have no reason to care.

This guy is not worth your time or effort, so even though you might get the urge to talk all kinds of shit about him to everyone or call him and tell him off or at the very least comment his Facebook pictures with remarks about how ugly the new girl is, be sure you refrain. Even if it feels good momentarily, it will make you look and feel worse in the end

Yeah, you really have the upper hand. I mean, we can all assume he is crying his eyes out and worrying about whether lowlife people respect him or not and posting his story of you on Internet forums, etc.

Oh, and furthermore, yoyobek needs to learn how to spell "tome". She also needs to learn what the fuck a "classic" of literature. I have never met one fucking person that would assume reading Harry Potter or The Hobbit somehow constitutes intellectualism, and I've met some pretentious people in my life. Assuming that he does therefore is pretty god damn dense.

Damnit, learn to read!

Hence why I'd put 'classic' in brackets!

Just because I dont like Harry Potter doesent mean to say it's not selling at a horrifically fast rate.

Used to be, the bible was the top selling book in the world. EEK!

No...He probably sees himself as a conqueror of the females...Sorry to say it but a prick like him ain't gonna see anything from any sort of female perspective.
He's a chauvanist.

And from what I can tell you're not on top...If he still bothers you this much, you're not high enough in the happy ladder.

My advice would be to sit back, get into your head that this guy is a piece of knob cheese and doesn't deserve any sort of real love. Sooner or later he's going to want it but he'll be such an emotionally void shell of a "man" with no experience when it comes to reciprocating love that all he's going to get is another brainless little sheep in a miniskirt while you have met someone you can love who will return it.

And that is when you'll be on top.

Or I'm way too tired to be thinking and giving advice...I don't know.
