mmm...should I still go for it?
Basicall I posted this: http://www.totse.com/community/showthread.php?t=2065246
awhile ago. For those of you who don't want to actually read the last one, here it is:
1) I know this isn't myspace or a blog
2) I know that there are 521 threads a week just like this
3) But I'm special
4) really just want to share my feelings with someone.
Okay, let's start this story up and end it real quick. I'm a Junior in HS, and there's this girl who's in two of my classes who I didn't even knew existed before this year. Basically I sat with her in Math and we talked alot and she laughed at my jokes and we played lots of retarded games that you play when you're bored in class. Basically, she's Asianish (her last name is Martinez...), shy, vegan, but really nice. She's the type of girl who I find attractive, but really isn't having half the male population dry-humping her. I've been feeling things like she's definately trying to show interest. Stuff like commenting on my clothes and trying to manipulate what I wear and showing interest. Today, I'm sitting in Math and basically zone out and just really look at her kinda, trying to pick up on signs (I sit behind her now...we switched tables...Thought Riot sad). And, at the end of class I swear I saw her friend hand her a note saying that I was looking at her throughout class; she smiled. So basically, I need to ask her out, but I really don't know how.
I'm really thinking of just asking her if I can talk to her after class or something and just saying, "wanna go out? maybe see a movie tonight or something?" that's my brilliant line. I really wish that there was some event I could ask her out on, like Winter Ball or something, but there isn't. I mean the whole "wanna go out" part seems a tad immature and childish, but I can't think of any other way. And no, we are not going to hook up at a party or anything (I have a tightknit group of friends. Drunken Fight Club on Friday with betting!). It really has to be at school, and asking her out for something later.
/endrant; thanks for reading.
Advice?
Basically from that post I have done nothing, but I have Plenty of excuses!!!! oh yay! Basicall I was working up the courage to ask her out to the movies on Friday (long passed...) and pussed out for the main reason that her facebook (which she'd just made that week) listed her as: Female, In a Relationship, Interested in: men/women, and looking for: Friendship. Well, naturally I backed off. Karma's a bitch, right?
Well, basically, after a week or so, she's still dropping signs, but I've been returning them and we've been talking alot in the two classes we have and via the internet. However, I just learned what might have confused me. In a message she says, "But it'd suck to actually go to an all girls college, even if i am bi, still." Get that, she just confided in me that she's bisexual.
Should I still persue? I'm 16 and a Junior in HS. But wtf this shit's hard enough normally.
EDIT: wow I really named this thread poorly

Go for it. Don't worry about the bi thing, it's hot anyway.
also, alot of girls list on their myspace/facebook that they are in a relationship regardless of the validity of this statement to stop people from searching for single girls and then adding them.
Whats your problem with the bi thing anyway?

Go for it. And the bi thing doesn't mean anything. All high school girls are bi.

QFT
And I love it, find two girls who are good freinds and drunk at a party, and tell them to make out. They will do it. Unless they are homophobes, then, they won't and you'll get nut stomped. In my years of experience, those are the only two outcomes I have experienced.

Re: mmm...should I still go for it?
ya, I'm not really weirded out by the bisexual thing, but it's more like I was so ready, and this just threw me off. Not really what I expected; that's it.
We're both out of town over Thanksgiving, so I'm going to go for it once we get back.

the risk/reward thing doesn't really seem worth it.

Yes, girls are generally bi-sexual or lesbians when they hit the legal drinking age. It's the attention and free drink factor.
Just take the plunge Riot.

Re: mmm...should I still go for it?
She likes you. Don't make it into some sort of big deal.
You like each other so ask if she wants to go see (insert whatever lame movie 16-year-olds are into here...) with you sometime this weekend. If she says yes, then tell her you'll either be able to go Friday or Saturday (unless she's busy doing something for one of those) and that you'll give her a call to let her know.
This will not fail.

Re: mmm...should I still go for it?
Euda, CarbonB, and pengd0t, you guys were all right. I just asked her if she wanted to do anything before I left, and then she calls me asking to watch a movie at her house. About half way through, we're really relaxed, she's resting her head on my shoulder, and me resting my head on her head and my hand on her knee. We must've been like that and just talking for like 1.5-2 hours. Really went as well has I could've expected, especially considering the fact that her parents were home. Hugged when I left and promised to do something when I get back.
Who would've thought internet peer pressure could work out so well?

You didn't kiss her?
Hello, platonic sexless friendship!
