Pity Sex - A Paradox?
Does pity sex exist? Can one consent to sex without having at least some desire to partake in it?
Have any of you ever had sex with someone just because you felt bad for them, or as a favor, or because you couldn't say no? If so, did you derive any pleasure out of it?
I guess this question mainly applies to women, as a male orgasm pretty much means at least some pleasure every time.

Re: Pity Sex - A Paradox?
I think it's more of an excuse when you want someone who is just that pathetic, just to make sure you don't seem desperate.

Re: Pity Sex - A Paradox?
Will no one admit to having partaken in the act of pity sex? Is it something to be that ashamed of? Or maybe nobody on totse has ever had true pity sex, thus proving that it is truly a paradox..?
I've had sex because I didn't know how to say "NO," does that count?
The girl who took my virginity agreed to it before having met me... Does that count?
Come on, you guys must have some stories or opinions on the matter.
I think it's more of an excuse when you want someone who is just that pathetic, just to make sure you don't seem desperate.
That's a possibility. Although I personally can't relate, as I'm not that shallow. If I sleep with some, I will take full responsibility for having made that choice, no matter how ugly/fat/slutty that person may be...

Re: Pity Sex - A Paradox?
I think I have, yeah.
A long long time ago, not that that's any consolation. It wasnt really pity sex, but the guy had helped me out and I felt bad not giving him anything in return.

Re: Pity Sex - A Paradox?
I don't know... I guess it depends how you define it.
I've had sex with my ex-boyfriend before when I wasn't in the mood, and I didn't really enjoy it. Does that count as pity sex, even though he was my boyfriend at the time?

Re: Pity Sex - A Paradox?
Yeah, I have.
It was pretty complicated, but basically he was about to leave the country and it would have sucked to break up with him like 5 days before he left. I figured it would be better for him to leave with the vaguely romantic notion of a love-that-could-never-be (yes, he was that kind of guy) than a fairly blunt ego-deflating rejection.
Though the sex wasn't exactly fulfilling in the first place.

Ok.. This was a long time ago. I was single. I was being nice.
When I'm in a relationship I'm stupidly loyal, stupidly loving and basically work my tiny white ass off to make the guy I'm with happy.
If that makes me a 'Whore' then..
Well, I dont value the fact you like me much, if you judge people like that.

How much you spend on your men has very little to do with the issue.
A whore, in the truest sense of the word, is someone who trades sex for goods and/or services. Seems like I hit the nail on the head, actually.

I don't know if there is any truth to this statement, but it gave me good lulz.

Looks like she wasn't so honest. Still a whore though.

Re: Pity Sex - A Paradox?
I don't think you have to be attracted to someone to have sex with them. In fact...Haven't you seen some of the couples out there? Do you really think that every guy/girl who is with a 400Lb partner is attracted to them?
My friend was dating this guy who was so fat and inactive that his TOENAILS fell off and he didn't even know it! His feet were all blue and toenail-less and she took him to the ER where the doctor told him to quit smoking and lose some weight or he would certainly die soon. The guy DID die not 6 months later at the age of 31. I seriously doubt she was at all attracted to him, but I know they had sex. She told me that he was so fat that they could only have sex with her on top and that he had to literally hoist up his belly for her to be able to get at his penis.

Well I don't just mean physical attraction. I mean, I'm sure that in order to have sex with someone you must be attracted to them on SOME level. Otherwise it would definitely fall under the category pity sex, I guess...
Why was your friend with this guy to begin with? Is she especially unattractive as well?? Or did this guy just happen to have the world's best personality??
