now I met this girl 3 months and 10 days ago(her estimation) in a stickam chatroom. when I first started talking to her she didn't have a cam but she said she was a girl so I believed her.
so we hit it off right away, she's an awesome girl lives in Pennsylvania, trusts the media a tad to much but manages to make me smile every time I talk to her.
A couple weeks into our chatting she mentioned how I was her e-boyfriend and I was like WTF...ok.
so now I had an e-girlfriend.
It's pretty cool. you have a person to talk intimite shit about that lives in a different country, but thats the downside to it too. For a while now, well since we first started talking she's been going on about moving up here to Canada to be with me. And the thing is...I'm not entirely against it. Sounds like what happened to me. I met this guy online two years ago. We only got interested in each other romantically during the begining of this year, and now we've been dating for 9 months. EXCEPT, we're not e-lovers. We visit each other frequently, every month. I usually go to live with him for a couple weeks and by next year i'm moving to his state to attened a photography institute which, fortunately for me, is near where he lives. Things have been going great because we actually have met eachother and planed a future together. Whether or not it goes through is a different story..
But for you, if you don't plan on getting serious and meeting her sometime soon, then you're in a "pointless relationship" in my opinion. You're wasting your time and hers, you might even end up hurting her or getting hurt yourself.. unless, of course, your plan is just to fuck around with her over a keyboard. Internet relationships rarely seem to work in the long term... then again, relationships rarely seem to work in the long term.

'Meeting' a girl online, getting to know her and falling for her, then actually meeting up. So you get to know each other without the distractions and awkwardness which would be there had you initially met in public, if for some reason you had. Meeting in person is a little awkward, but unless you've been lying to her or you two immediately dont click, the awkwardness shouldn't last long.

You're then set on getting to know each other fully, possibly having great sex as you already feel comfortable together and could have strong feelings.


If it works, it seems to work well.
I'm speaking from experience, although we've split long ago. The relationship was good and worthwhile while it lasted for the years it did. Some people barely get that out of a lifetime of marriage.
