I think I should start by saying that by no means am I complaining about this, not at all.
However it's relatively puzzling.

I work at a bar/club, just as a glassie (aka glass bitch).
Not on the bar or anything.
But for some reason I get hit on probably ten times as much while working as when I'm in a similar place normally.
I don't get it.
Do girls feel more comfortable about a guy who's working at the joint because he's less likely to be a nutcase?
Is it to do with being occupied doing something?

I mean, I've literally had a cute blond 20 something (I'm early 20s) grab me and tell me "I want to sleep with you".

Why the fuck does this not happen when I'm not working, and thus not knocking off at oh... 5 or 6am.


Women are weird.

Its the vibe, or the aura you are giving off. When you are trying to pick them up you got your "game" goin....and it ain't workin. Maybe you are coming off as desperate, insincere....who the hell knows when it comes to women? But when working you are just being yourself, doing your thing, nonchalant and casual. And yeah, some of it is dumb luck.....the universe fucking with you. I know that all too well as years ago I used to be the night manager at a hotel. I still got laid a lot, but maybe only 1/5 of what I COULD have had....if only the timing of my shift was better.

Why not go there one night on your day off and just start doing your normal job and see what happens. Start shuffling glasses around like for an hour or two and then just bail when the opportunity arises.

The reason for this thread is that I'm still cute, and still surrounded by drunk girls, if I go out to the same sorts of places normally, but I don't get nearly the same level of attention that I do when I'm working.
