I've seen there's been alot of increased interest in OI lately.

I've allways avoided requesting new mods be added because I've been hoping Sambob may be re-modded.
Now I see the chances of that happening are slim, but there's still a chance.


For a long long time, I've wanted Jackketch as a mod of this forum. He's incredibly knowledgeable and a veteran chef. I'd considered asking him to be added when Napoleon and Sambob still modded OI but felt maybe there'd be too much toe stomping.

However, I would like Jackketch to be Modded in OI,please Acidmelt, Zok, or MLOR?

Also, I would like to give Stormy the opportunity to mod OI if she would like to. Alot of posters respond positively to her pleasant nature and she's a seemingly infinate knowledge of junk food and disgusting sauces. :D


So if you could add these two people it would be great. :)

Of course, if the situation decends into what happened in GPP, I wont hesitate to request they both be removed, but I cant see a terrible clash of personalities happening, really.

Any chance of having Sambob back at all?

I understand that that was Jeffs action, so of course I couldnt expect an admin to undermine that action.

I also understand that it would make the forum very crowded when Sambob is re-modded, so Jeff, if you ever get round to reading this I'll give up my place on OI for Sambob

Moderators in a forum is always a good thing, but it isn't always a necessary thing.

I'd be happy to co-mod OI but I would see my modship as holding sambob's place warm until the day Jeff relents and returns sambob to his rightful place. At which time i'll merrily fall on my E-sword in his favour.

It's allways good to shake things up.

And if things dont go well with new mods in my forum it's easy just to request them to be removed. Nothing is permanent.

My historical area code was 807 and to call long distance within Canada you have to dial a 1 before the number.

I think the Sambob re-modding ship set sail long ago, he still continues to post as much as he can giving his current state.

He said it himself; with all his broken bones and busted parts &T just isn't a priority right now.

On topic, if this happens, Stormy, Ketch, remember that OI is a friendly forum, I've tried my best to make it one of the more hospitable places on Totse, and I dont want that changing. Heh, considering you're two of the most friendly mods on Totse (I cant I'm refering to jackketch as friendly here..) you dont need to be told that.

I know Stormy used to mod FGF, so is it cool to just go back to a forum you used to mod and expect to be added there?

I'm really sorry for wasting everyones time. I think that adding any new mods to what is still a very quiet forum would be a really bad idea at the moment.

As much as I want Jackketch and Stormy to mod there, the forum is just waaay way too small, I can handle it fine, and I'd HATE to see another GPP situation, personality clashes, arguments, ect.

Infact the forum traffic may have increased but it's still enough for one mod to handle.


..Which means infact I've just made a twat of myself and completely made useless the poll I made about sambob.

I'm going to go close that now.
