I hate perfume, it's this stupid tiny little bottle that costs an extortionate amount.
However, I do have to buy the shit for my mum every christmas.

'Course, it all depends on the woman, what a 60something year old loves a young girl may hate.
But generally, I've found scents such as 'Opium' 'Amarige' and the trusty old Chanel No 5 tend to go down well.

If you *must* get her perfume, if it's what she's specified wanting, try to scout around her room and see what she uses and likes. And then go get the biggest bottle of that you can.

Also, dont try to get her cheap immitations off a skanky website, or from a cheap impersination shop or stall.
She will be able to tell. I dont know how, but they can.

Although I haven't exactly bought perfume for anyone, I think you're better off lacking the 'surprise' effect, but getting her what she wants. In other words, ask her. There are so many different perfumes and a lot of women have very different tastes.

I decided to get 3.4 ounces of "Angel" perfume. Apparently it's pretty much the best perfume so says its ratings and the high price. It's made by Thierry Mugler.

Why not get her a REALLY nice perfume bottle(is there a proper name for them?). No doubt someone else will buy her perfume, and she will have the bottle for a lot longer than a perfume.
