'fuck buddies'
Alright, so apparently I was mistaken about exactly what it means to be 'fuck buddies':
First, some background: I'm a freshman in college, I live in a dorm. My neighbor and I are (were, maybe) fuck buddies. Nothing more, nothing less. We both agreed on that.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the primary difference between a fuck buddy and a boyfriend/girlfriend (besides depth of feeling for one another) that fuck buddies aren't monogamous (monoamorous? whatever.) ?
Anyway, point is I brought a girl back from a party last night (yes, I know I should have found someplace far away from the girl I was currently boning to do this, but the girl I brought back lives in the substance free dorm [though she's not substance free] and thus, can't be seen doing anything remotely fun or she gets kicked out of her room. Not to mention her roommate, being a teetotaler, was asleep).
I talk to my roommate, give him the whole "can you give us say, 30-40 minutes?" thing. He's cool. We fuck, fall asleep.
Now my neighbor won't talk to me. I knocked on her door to say hi this morning and she slammed it in my face. I texted her asking if we could talk, got the response "fuck off."
So, two questions:
1. Did I break some sacred trust here? I was under the distinct impression that fuck buddies were just that, not fucking married couples.
2. Should I just wait for her to chill out or keep trying to talk to her?

Re: 'fuck buddies'
Maybe she got attached. It's always a risk with the whole fuckbuddy thing. You may find yourself having to call it off for both your benefits.
I don't think you overstepped any boundaries, because as far as fuckbuddies are concerned, there are none.

Re: 'fuck buddies'
The person who is the least interested in the relationship has the most power.
The other person will almost inevitable fall in love.
You wanted it less, ergo, she had to put in the effort you werent putting in, and she fell for you.

fuck buddies was our exact wording. I guess a more thorough definition was needed, though.

Then how does anyone keep up a relationship that's just sex? And I know some people do, I've seen it.

I guess you could go about it a couple ways, but currently I just have a couple friends that I sleep with. We enjoy each other's company, and of course the sex, but it's nothing more than that.
Edit: OP, she liked you and got jealous, simple as that.

Re: 'fuck buddies'
Well, I talked to her:
We decided to end it, but stay friends, which is good, since I like her company a lot.
She said she understood where we stood in terms of polyamoury, but it hit her hard nonetheless.

Both of them see other people as to not get attached any one single person.

Or, the girl is so desperate to stay in the relationship that she puts out twice a day. The guy flirts with other girls whenever they come up, and she has to have something to keep him hooked.
I know a couple that's relationship is basically just that.

For an irresponsible activist, you do err on the side of caution.

I never said that I am being cautious, I am just saying that's a possibility.
