I've gotta instate this disclaimer: I'm drunk, and prior to drinking was tripping. Yet, I feel this sentiment is worth considering.

When you are gratified (and not just entranced) with a relationship, it's something worth holding on to.

I've been in situations where it was either a girlfriend or a best friend, and "betrayal" occurs. If you feel like less of a person, you've merely been entranced or seduced or infatuated (it all depends on how you view others' motives).

But if you can trip your nuts off with someone, girlfriend or acquaintance, they're good folk. Perhaps this should be in BLTC, but the ultimate test of trust in a relationship is whether or not you can be lost with them and feel ok. Even people you found disgusting can show a different side of understanding whilst tripping.

If you can't trust someone you "love" while tripping, then you can't love them.

These are merely observations I'm reflecting on. I'm more or less sober at the moment.

Furthermore, if you can't consider someone you love and think "let's get a bottle and drink alone tonight," then the "love" you feel is a completely different beast.
