Nope. Flow (Q) is a constant given a system, regardless of diameter of piping. That means that given a constant Q, and an increase in Area A (vasodilation) we have a lower Velocity V meaning it takes longer to pump out old blood and pump in new blood.

If a vessel is constricted it will take more pressure to pass fluids through it. Assuming that pressure is a constant then depending on the constriction level less blood overall will make it through (in a closed system). Obviously pressure is not a constant. But this is how I am illustrating my point that constricted vessels mean less blood flow to the penis. If the vessels to the extremities are constricted then blood follows the rules of any other liquid under pressure, it goes the route of least resistance. So at some point a vessel can become constricted enough to limit flow to extremities. That, and that constriction is the limiting factor (not blood pressure) is are my only contentions in this argument. You obviously have some medical knowledge, this may be a semantic disagreement.
You seem to be saying that blood pressure being lowered is the reason for the affect. I agree that blood pressure is lowered and that is a factor, but I contend that the most important factor is the constriction or dilation of vessels. Both because of reasons I discuss above, and because vasodilation affects certain parts of the body particularly where blood pressure is a systemic issue.

But you're missing the point. Flow rate is constant. It's monitored by the heart beat, and friction in the veins and arteries.

Also, since veins dialate, there's more surface area, leading to less velocity.

Also, since alcohol is a depressant, it slows down the heart causing less velocity.

All these factors, and you've got less flow, and less velocity(circulation).

When im drinking, its basically the same as when it is warm outside, not an erection but def. more blood, more size. It probably is a fairly individual reaction, but I still stand by the vasodilation effect of alcohol as the reason it makes things bigger. Vasodilation affects extremeties particularly where blood pressure is a system wide effect. anyway, to each their own
