I've been in situations where other people assumed that I had done something, but I refused to talk about it, and from there it spread into rumors about me getting gangbanged, but I've never lied about anything that I've done (except to my mom, but that's different).

That's true, but still... If they're your 'friends,' they're most likely going to come to your house one day. The size of your house itself should be a good indicator of your dad's job... I don't know any factory workers who can afford a house that a lawyer can. And when the dad comes home in his factory uniform, that's an even bigger tip off.
