should i ask my ex out to dinner?
about 3 months ago me and my girlfriend broke up...actually i was dumped. she said she didnt love me and needed space. this weekend i saw her at a bar and we talked for a while that night....nothing serious, just chatting and shit...it seemed to be going well. when i tried to dance with her she gave me the brush off. didnt really bother me all that much. anyways, i was thinking of asking her out to dinner sometime this week. not to try to get a relationship back, but hopefully so i can get some sex afterwards.... good idea or bad?
also, the night after i saw her she was online, so i sent her an IM just saying hey...she ignored it....so i guess thats a bad sign.

Re: should i ask my ex out to dinner?
Sounds like a waste of money to me. Sex then dinner, my friend.
Though frankly, it doesn't sound like you'll be getting her sex. Sorry :/

ask her out for a drink maybe?
doesn't sound overly hopeful, and dinner might scare her off a bit as it kinda puts out "i want to get back with you" vibes.

Re: should i ask my ex out to dinner?
BAD IDEA BAD IDEA!!
She's your ex for a reason. She probably thought you asked her to dance because you wanted to get back together.
Asking her to dinner gives off even more of this Vibe. If she's single she'll possibly brush you off, if she's dating someone else he may think you're moving in on her (and you are) and kick your ass.
Why would you waste time on an Ex that will probably cost you alot and wont put out?
Get yourself a nice new girl who you atleast know will eventually do you.
Contact with an Ex is generally, a very bad idea.

Re: should i ask my ex out to dinner?
Don't waste your time buddy boy.
In the bar she was being civil...Talking to you, no hard feelings that sorta shit.
You ask her to dance and she brushes you off...That to me would be a pretty clear sign of "You no touch me!"
Dinner?...I'm not even gonna bother explaining.
Just move on mate.

Re: should i ask my ex out to dinner?
thanks for the advice everyone....it's settled then. I won't do it... i heard everything that i had been thinking pretty much. i knew it was a bad idea....but sometimes you have to hear it from a bunch of random people you dont know over the internet for it to really sink in.
