okay, so yeh all these advice things have a story behind them. If you want to skip down to my problem, go to the last paragraph. I tend to get sidetracked during my stories and throw in little things that don't relate too much with the topic.

Anyways, i'm a TA for ceramics, it's a dirty crummy job, but i enjoy the alone time and the freedom. I'm usually in the room in the back, were clay is stored and previous sculptures and what not is. So anyways, today things were different, much to my surprise there was another volunteer (this is an actual class, where i get credit, my counselor forced me to take 6 class, yeh it's bull) so anyways, usually, im the only back there, so I get pretty bored, and end up texting or playing with stuff to entertain myself when i'm not cleaning. So anyways, the other volunteer was a pretty girl, and she looked to be the type of girl who seemed very reserved and intimidating. Turns out she was actually pretty decent, we started making small talk, and casually asked if she had a bf. she said no, not since her sophomore year because of the drama.

She had a class with me last year, I never talked to her, she was always very quiet, and looked pretty intimidating. She even had the highest grade in that history class, so I always assumed she was a big nerd, and she'd hate a obnoxious loud mouth like me. So I never really spoke to her kuz i never got the chance, and i thought she was a prude. However, i always sorta thought she was cute. Anyways, we were suppose to be cleaning the kiln (the burning thing you put the clay in), and when we were done cleaning it we were suppose to load it up with cups and bowls. I knew we'd finish early and probably have a bunch of extra time to jus chill or hang out in the back ourselves, so i told her we didnt have to do anything else, and if we sticked back there, the teacher wouldnt give us anymore work. I said this because i didnt want anymore work, and i knew it'll be retarded jus sitting in the back together, so we'd probably talk. we talked about what schools we went to, our siblings, plans for after grad, blah blah.

So yeh, turns out she wassnt such a uptight geek.(yeh, i know how horrible i sound). It made the time fly by, i actually kind of wished school was longer. So, how would I go about hitting on her, or asking her out. My plan is to just act casual and try to crack a few jokes, then maybe ask for a SN or phone number. That's all i got... so my life in your hands, totse.

Ask her if she has plans for lunch? Or if your class is after lunch, ask if she wants to grab some coffee after school?

pretty much, after this period, we both leave. I guess I could ask her to join me for some coffee or something, but i cant help but think she'd have to go promptly home kuz she seems like one of those chicks, but i have been wrong about her before..

Well, maybe give it a try. Maybe find out what kind of music/movies she's into? Maybe if there's a movie she want to see, you could ask her if she want to go on ___________ night?

Even if she doesn't bite, at least you got the satisfaction of putting yourself out there. Which is easily like 80% of dating/getting laid.

i'll probably try to get a little more comfortable with her, she said she'd come back on thursday or friday, i'll ask her if she'll come back after that, if she says yes, i'll probably ask her out on her next visit. but she she says that thurs or friday is her last day, i'll probably ask her for her phone # so i could hopefully make plans with her on the weekend.

I will bet you that if you just plainly ask her to get some coffee with you or do something that she mentioned she was interested in making the fact that your interested obvious and charming but not weird, that she will gladly accept. Go for it man.

Agreed, do whatever, if shes ok with you and shes free, she shouldnt disagree, or she'll suggest somewhere else. As for game wise, its pretty much universal with all girls you just gotta modify the intensity of it.
