So, remember when I told you guys that chick gave me her number?

Well I called her, and she kept me on the phone for a half hour flirting, laughing, calling me cute every so often etc and then she told me she would call me back since someone came into the store she was running.

She called me back in 5 minutes, and she told me it was an accident, that she was trying to call a girl friend. She toldme she would call me back, but not so soon.

Well, that was on sunday. I haven't heard from her at all since. No phone calls, and not even contact through the web, in fact, I doubt she has even logged onto facebook since sunday.

So the question is...wtf happened? I would definately not wait so long to call a girl back, so what's up with her not calling me? Do girls hold a different standard?

And, could she have been faking interest for all that time? I don't understand why she would give me her number if she was faking it, so maybe thats out...but I'm not so sure.

I hope I hear from her again, but it seems like she is avoiding me and the issue at hand...

Why don't you just call her? Then just gauge her reaction and go from there.

I hate talking on the phone, so I wont call people alot of the time even if I say I will. But most girls seem to like talking on the phone, so that's probably not it...

i'm notoriously bad at calling people back.

i have a rule that i'll call someone 3 times, and if they don't call me back, then too bad. it doesn't matter if i get their answering machine all 3 times or if i talk to them all 3 times, unless they specifically say 'call me back at X time,' they have to call me back after the third time or they won't hear from me again.

i suggest you impliment that rule.

If she was flirting with you, or at least talking to you, for at least 30 minutes then she has some intrest in you. If she was really really drunk on the phone, or if you were drunk and it was you talking to her at a party for like 5 minutes and she gave you her number, then it's probably not worth it. Seriously, at parties, how many numbers do you get and never call again? Either way, she has less interest in you than you do in her, or she would have called you back, or meekly texted or something like that.

You have nothing to lose by just calling her again and gauging her emotions. Doing it once after not hearing from eachother for a seven days is fine. Doing it seven times after not hearing from her for one day, on the other hand, wouldn't.

I guess the only way you can tell is to try phoning her,and asking her. If you phone her and she says she'll "call you back later", and thats it, then chances are she's dicking around, and possibly not worth your time.

It just goes back and forth if your in that stage, girl will think shes desperate calling you, and you think your desperate calling her. So whats the solution, space out times btwn when you call/text her. Take your time to return her call or text. Shit if you even want to make it obvious your not desperate dont call/text back at all till the next day. They may even call you or text you wondering what happened within the hour that you stop responding.Seems like a dirty exploit but itll get the point across, but at the same time it can fuck you over if you do this too much as the person will eventually get the idea your not interested regardless if that was your intentions or not.
