What if..
Your boyfriend/girlfriend told you they had some STD? How would you react?
I don't think I would freak but I'd definitely get tested and start questioning when and how he got it. Depending on that I would deside if to break it off or not.
What would you do?

Re: What if..
It depends on alot of things.
Considering we've been together for awhile I'd guess that would mean he'd cheated on me.
So then, I'd dump him, beat the fuck out of the skank, get myself tested and deal with the std, then move on.
If it was something unpleasant and permanent, and also quite fatal,I'd probably dump him, get him arrested for willfully spreading the disease, find the skank and break her legs arms and fingers and then throw her off a bridge. Then I'd find good homes for the guinea pigs, sell everything else, buy a very fast but not very nice car and go on a lovely speeding spree which I'd end by nosediving off a high bridge.
However, if it was a STD he'd got from someone previous to our relationship,I'd be nice, I'd be supportive, no doubt I'd be a bit pissed off, but I'd deal with it.

Re: What if..
"Have you had it since we started dating?...If so, why was I not informed?"
"Did you get this while we were dating?...You didn't get it from me so who you been fucking bitch?!"
That would seriously piss me off. I've had the clap before and it was no fun at all. No excuses...Johnny every time.
If it was an easy to get rid of one, I'd get us both sorted, slap her a bit then make her buy the beers.
If it was a serious one, I'd get checked straight away...If I had it, they wouldn't find the body.

Re: What if..
The problem is, how can you tell how long the person has had it?
If my boyfriend came home and said "I've got an STD" there's no way I could prove that it was something he'd had since we met or something he'd got since we were dating via cheating.
This thread makes me want to go get tested. For everything.

You'd be surprised at what they find! :p
But yeah...I know for a fact I'm clean...I got myself tested before I got with my ex and got rid of the clap. Near enough two years of fucking the same girl and I have no symptoms of anything. This body is clean.#
So if I were actually with someone again and I found out she had an STD, I'd be a little worried just in case the johnnies I have put my trust into had failed me.
And as I said before, if I had a serious one from her, there would be no body to find.

Re: What if..
Depends. We haven't done anything yet, so I wouldn't be at risk. But still, I'd be very curious as to how and when she got it, since she hates those kind of people that sleep around, and she isn't a hypocrite.
It really depends on how she explains it. Of course, I might go and hunt and beat the living fuck out of one of her exes. That'd make me happy anyway. Again, it depends on the circumstances as to if I break up with her or not. But chances are that I wouldn't.
That's just my two cents.

Re: What if..
What if it was something incurable but not that serious? Like HPV or herpes or something?

Re: What if..
Well, viruses like herpes/HPV sometimes don't show up for years.(?) Usually herpes presents with sores within 30 days & then shows up less often over time.
As an aside, I once saw a gorgeous 18 year old in a mini-dress talking to her friend on the train. She had a cute little act going for a while.
She was telling her friend about how Herpes 1 & 2 were each equally happy being up top or down below. She kept smiling & point up & down. She loved saying that & it seemed like she carried on for about five minutes.
She was so photogenic like, that the total cuteness prevailing made each moment seem like an eternity. So who knows how long it really was... You know how 18/19's can seem so perfectly amazing? I've trained (hah!) myself to think, "Why does she look soooo amazing? Ahhhh: 18/19..." :)
After that? They're just another 'Dead Teenager'. :p
