What are the best places where you could start conversation with someone you have never met before?

I usually meet girls through friends of mine so I was wondering how people go out and just pick up chicks without even knowing them.

i know this isn't what you were asking, but i've never met a guy anywhere and just hooked up with him.

i've only gotten with guys that i already knew, either through school or friends.

so, if you're looking for a girlfriend, your best bet would probably be through one of those two.

Gay bars. Tons of really hot chicks go there. Usually when hot women go to bars or clubs, they want to find a guy to spend the night with. Extremely hot women will go to gay bars (the kind for men) when they don't want to deal with men because:

A. Hot chicks think homosexual men are "fun to hang around".

B. Guys like you are not as likely to be there trying to get laid.

C. There tend to be less assholes around.

I don't mean lesbians either (maybe a bisexual or two), but extremely hot straight women who could be models if they wanted to. However, it isn't like half of the gay bar is filled with sexy women, and not every single one will be drop dead gorgeous. Usually there will be one group of maybe six sitting in a corner and possible another in another corner somewhere else.

The tradeoff however, is that they aren't as likely to want to talk to any straight guy who just came there to find hot chicks, and this is where women also go when they aren't single. However, these women tend to get more drunk than normal and there is usually extremely little to no competition to deal with.

Anywhere you go you can meet women. It's simple, just ask them on their opinion on something, make it interesting and make sure the possible answers are open ended and not just a smiple "yes" "no". Works in clubs/coffee shops/malls wherever. If it's day time ask them for the time or directions to somewhere, doesn't matter if you already know how to get there or not. After they tell you say something like "hey while we're talking I need to ask you something" and take it from there. Once you're in a normal conversation you can do anything you want.

anyway, i have met girls and struck a conversation (though havent hooked up, you you probably could) in long ass boring queues, like at a fancy restaurant thats always packed. sometimes girls bring their friends along for a dinner.

1. Collage/uni, work, night clubs, through friends of friends, parties.

2,In reality I would suggest somewhere open and public, such as a bar or 'landmark' in town so you can sit and chat before moving onto where ever you are planning on going for a date.

i doubt this made much sense but, i tried.
